I’ve been out documenting some graffiti live action which took place in Copenhagen as the preparations for the upcoming museum show “Danish Graffiti 1984 - 2013” has begun. More than 100 graffiti artist will take the audience through 30 years of Danish graffiti and will present it on canvas, walls, books, photos and even Märklin trains. The show is curated by Jens-Peter Brask and opens at Kunsten - Museum of Modern Art in Aalborg on March 22nd. And for those who can’t go and see it in person, I’m going to document it heavily with a bunch of photos!
As a teaser for the upcoming show here’s a selection of exclusive action shots of SABE & FAZE, who’s been painting for more than 27 years. They painted two walls in Copenhagen and the first mural premieres in the museum cataloque at the opening, so right now I’m glad to bring you all my shots of their second wall, which they painted straight after they did the first one.
It was a real pleasure to document these two legendary graffiti writers at work and you’ll find a bunch of action shots, work-in-progress, detail shots and pics of the completed second wall.
Please note: None of these two murals excists in real life anymore as they were painted over right after they were completed, so photos is all we’ve got!
