Last Friday, I went to the reception for a new book called “Skrivere” (“Writers”) held at the legendary youth club; Thomas P Hejle’s “klubben”.
I bumped into familiar faces I had not seen in 20+ years, the time gap was a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions, but it was a good day chilling
with old ” has-beens “, friends and writers. The self-financed book is made by “Sketzh” without any sponsors or book companies support.
Printed in only 1000 copies (language is unfortunately Danish) the book picks up right where “Dansk Wild Style Graffiti” left us in 1985
and documents the following, but just as important years (1985-87) of Copenhagen’s graffiti history, years where I was a instrumental part of,
that paved the way for Copenhagen’s future generations of writers. I recommend everyone to support the book, because if we don’t respect
our history, all that stuff will get lost down the line! It’s up to “US” to record and document our scene and create a platform for the art form to continue to grow…

Pick up the book at Le-fix stores in Cph:
