Ever have one of those days when everything goes right ? When your caps don’t clog and your colors come together ? When everybody shows up on time and without hassle ? When the first outline you put up is your best ? When people don’t ask you stupid questions like ” what color is that ?” , “can you put up my homeboy who’s in jail?” “were you in Wildstyle ? ” When the weather is just perfect ? WE had one of those days and it was just amazing, especially since soon it will be too cold to paint.  “Lovin’ the streets” , Daze , Bio, BG183, Cern, Acai.

Though i’ve posted twice in recent weeks about the opening of the Foundation Speerstra in Switzerland I received some new photographs of the installation that I ‘d like to share. The Foundation is based around the private collection of the Speerstra family who have been collecting graffiti based works since the early 80’s. Their amazing collection spans 30 years of collecting often focusing in depth on many artists entire career . I find this type of collecting much more gratifying as they’ve set out to collect all phases of and artists body of work instead of just buying a few pieces from a specific period. Looking at the photographs from the installation I can see that they have collected some of the best works by certain artists.
I’m really proud to be a part of this incredible collection. Anyone visiting Switzerland should make a point of visiting this spot.

  Earlier this year Ivory Serra came by my studio to do a photo shoot of me working on a painting. He’s a great photographer and a great guy.

  These are some photograph of some of my paintings being hung at the Foundation Speersta in Switzerland . The works are being hung as part of a permanent installation of the Foundation’s collection . THe paintings are from the 80’s and include a collaboration between myself, Aone, and Crash. The Foundation is set to open September 8th, 2012

  I did this mural in the summer of 2001 in Kruezberg ,Switzerland. It was part of a workshop I did with these kids . I think the total size of the piece is 10’x25’ feet . I had a great time doing it and have great memories of working with the kids.
