So many of these heds get away with these off key styles just because they do alot, they're painted clean and are "different".. PFFFFT...they've got skills but nah nah nah, I, and im sure ALOT of others see those sorta "euro" (cringe at the term) styles as INFERIOR to the REAL styles, real fuckin burners...THEY WILL NEVER BE COMPARABLE TO REAL FUKIN BURNERS, NOT EVEN CLOSE... i do like sum nt stuff, e.g omni and verge (do you see why?).... but at the end of the day ... each to there own i spose, i dont mean to ignite an arguement but it has to be said.
TPG/MOAS heds, e.g banos are prime examples of a writers with a euro kick THAT DO IT WELL because they dont go overboard, they do alot and still maintain alot of style, innovate and are original but dont stray too far from whats REAL STYLE. i dont mean to start an arguement, and im sorry for the long ass post but this shit had to be said.

London, Monday 16th February 2004 – Metronet has removed all non-scratched graffiti from trains on the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines over the last two months. Metronet, responsible for revitalising two-thirds of the London Underground Network, has removed around 30,000 interior graffiti tags in total. This is the first time that graffiti has been wiped out on Sub-Surface line trains.

London Transport Minister Tony McNulty said: “I am delighted that the scourge of graffiti has been removed from Circle and Hammersmith & City line trains. A good underground system is not just about punctuality and safety but also about cleanliness.

“I give my full congratulations to the Metronet staff that have completed this extremely important work. I want to see a graffiti free underground network so the journeys of the millions of passengers that use the network every year are not made less pleasant by a tiny minority.”

A team of 19 mobile graffiti removal staff are located at each train-stabling site every night removing interior and exterior graffiti. On an average day, 276 train carriages are vandalised with 200 tags. Vandals use a variety of dyes, sprays and pens. The inks are sometimes very difficult to remove so a new buffing technique has been introduced. This labour intensive process can take a gang of graffiti removers a whole day to clean one train.

Metronet's Project Manager, Mark Willer, said today: “It was a major challenge as vandals are in continuous operation. We're getting one step closer to creating a more pleasant environment for the travelling public.”

But this isn't a one off programme, Metronet is implementing a similar programme for graffiti removal on all of its lines.

Jesus when will everyone figure out this is an internet forum, everyone needs to calm down!

lets face it theres two sides to this argument - its good that people are getting out there and hitting tubes, but if you do it in a way that compromises it for other people that aint very positive.

Not in the way that yards are "owned" by certain crews or writers, but its not very constructive for the graffiti scene if plots become hot and are unusable.

And while everyone in the scene is going to have their own artistic opinion on the style and execution of any piece, the fact that this guy is going out and painting steel does count for something.

Those that have been there and done it before do have something over people who haven't, their experiences count for something.

Progression of a writer's style and execution naturally happens over time and the only way parts of this happen is by painting, and as long as any certain writer isn't baiting up a yard etc then who is to argue against them? Sure there are different ways of progressing, i.e sketching, legals etc, but everyone is different.

Maybe everyone needs to listen to each other a bit more and not go into spazzy temper tantrums! And perhaps comments like "its shit" could be turned into something more constructive?

And at the end of the day, no one comes on here for fame! That happens out in real world, not on some forum, thats not what this sites here for!

Now does anyone have any flicks to post?
