I took pics of these 3 just before christmas I know that they are at least four years old..if not more,
Freights dont have the buzz of passenger trains but they are worth doing..

Just to let everyone know, the mail trains are on the move to wales to be scrapped, got a flik of one from bham, with 3 wholecars and about 20 panels on it, will upload when ive scanned it , peace.

alot of those freights look like coil cars, and in my opinion wouldnt be worth painting. some of those freights with the doors and windows are pretty boss though, and deserve a good bum rogering if you catch my drift.

I actually like those freight cars more than ours in the US,
you guys have nice flat panels to paint, those are tough to find here..
And if you're painting for fame, freights may not be the way to go, but if
it's for fun and practice, and not much else, there's nothing wrong with it..
if you paint enough of them, people will take notice, eventually.

about a mile long coaile has just pulled into this local yard in the middle of the countryside which get infrequent traffic, and has a path right alongside it, am going to check it out in a bit, hopefully get a few nice shots for you lot.

Yes GROUNDZERO running passenger trains have a proper Buzz, I know what your saying,
All this thread is proving is alot of people are really into Freights, and I know most have service trains in there collection of flics as well, these freights run all over the country displaying that guys name.
Thats what graff is about!. The buzz to see anything roll by painted, is for me a shit hot buzz, Ive seen LondonTubes, BRs, Freight,s Buses, Trucks painted, yeah inservice passenger trains is where the fame is at, but Just Imagine: Im at Asda loading the car, Theres a Freight train pulling past the car park real slow, I spot there is a whole wagon painted a couple of wagons down, I dive in the car for the camara get flics and take a look round to see alot of normal people staring think what the fuck!... One guy literally was mouth wide open... thats what Graff is to me, taking your name and forcing people too look.
