Well you both have a point, but how many times have you been in your local thread (or any for that matter) and had to deal with a witty little douche with questions like "how do you bomb?" or "wheres the trainyard?"

Yeah your right. Me asking questions like that even though I know a few things about writing got people thinking I was 5-0.

no, there will never be a 'toy' forum
go to puregraffiti, myspace, or any place like that
there is your 'toy forum'
the site is not only here for YOU
being judged and clowned and looked down on by people who have been doing this longer than you
is a time honored tradition
i would estimate that 90% of people who start writing won't be doing it anymore in five years
if you are still painting in 5 years, you will understand why people are short and aggravated with the dumb shit
the internet has only made it easier for people with dumb questions to make themselves look foolish

No, wait... there is a toy forum. It's called the yard. Named after the schoolyard, where you get yelled at and called names and pushed down and get into fights and learn. But to learn here, you have to READ. You tell yourself that you want to do this thing and learn all about it but you refuse to read clearly marked and STICKIED threads that are 500 pages deep and answer your questions a thousand times over.
