I keep quite and usually lurk in these forums but I was reading what ashee wrote above about cleanliness from bombers who destroyed shit and it made me reminisce. Im like 30 years old now and I havent been home to the Chi in about 8 years so I dont know if hes still doing it or what but I remember that when I was coming up the cat that used to just kill and was always real clean and big and hit bananas spots was Joey. Ald. Burke's office defaced

Authorities were trying to determine who defaced the Southwest Side office of Ald. Edward M. Burke (14th), Chicago police said this evening.

A Deering District officer on patrol found the names "Mock" and "Evo" scrawled on the front and back of the building, located at 2650 W. 51st St., around 10 a.m. this morning.

"'Mock' was spray-painted at the base of the 14th Ward sign in front of the building, and 'Mock' and 'Evo' were spray-painted on a rear window," according to district Lt. Daniel Hudak, who did not know the significance of the graffiti.

Police believe the incident occurred some time last night or early this morning.

No one was in custody as of this evening, and Hudak did not know how many "taggers" were responsible. Police were interviewing people who live near the Gage Park neighborhood office and may recognize the style of the graffiti or the two names.

There was no other damage to the office, which is closed during weekends, Hudak said.

Burke, the longest serving alderman in the Chicago City Council and Chairman of the council's Committee on Finance, could not be reached for comment this evening.

A Deering District officer on patrol found the names "Mock" and "Evo" scrawled on the front and back of the building, located at 2650 W. 51st St., around 10 a.m. this morning.

"'Mock' was spray-painted at the base of the 14th Ward sign in front of the building, and 'Mock' and 'Evo' were spray-painted on a rear window," according to district Lt. Daniel Hudak, who did not know the significance of the graffiti.

Police believe the incident occurred some time last night or early this morning.

No one was in custody as of this evening, and Hudak did not know how many "taggers" were responsible. Police were interviewing people who live near the Gage Park neighborhood office and may recognize the style of the graffiti or the two names.

There was no other damage to the office, which is closed during weekends, Hudak said.

Burke, the longest serving alderman in the Chicago City Council and Chairman of the council's Committee on Finance, could not be reached for comment this evening.
