Nothing to worry about. It's an expensive-ass buff that no one's going to even know about for a few years. And so what? They buff. We paint.

So vs. bricks and crap, great idea.

Most of the stuff we tag though, is already painted. Meaning they laser off all the paint with the heat/sound energy, then the paint is gone. Meaning they have to paint over it again. So the logical thing for them to do is just paint without using a laser, seeing as they end up painting either way.

Hahahahahaha this is a terrible way to get rid of graffiti.

not gonna happen it gonna cause a shit load to run a laser for a buff
i think people won't pay for it and keep it with the sandblasters seems
like it would take to much time to buff one thing

Watch, after they buff a piece or a tag with the laser, they'll put a different color paint from the wall over the tag or piece like they always do..

paint and marker companys will come out wit somethin thats harder to buff and anti-graff people will come out with a more drastic way to buff and paint and marker compan will come out wit harder then harder to buff.........its the circle of life or somethin

not to mention its from 1996 if its like in movies from the 60's that think in 2000 we'll have flyin cars and shit. if it was gonna happen it would have happend by now.

.........
07-30-2007, 05:40 PM
I think it's awesome, it's not like it's somehow buffing it more than paint and it'd be way to cooler to see someone with some hug laser shit frying your tag off a wall than it would be to just see them paint over it

the year is 2108. If hip hop isnt dead by then, graffiti will have evolved from the oh-so-hazerdous -to -the- environment aerosol paint to high tech "laser particle engravers". This would pretty much be a light projector beam of some sort that burns a color into the cement (yeah, we will still have cement).

then they will cover that stuff up with spraypaint.

01-12-2008, 05:42 AM
even if they are developing the laser i'm sure they have ton's of stuff they still have to figure out, and about the time they bring it out it will be super expenisive and writer's will have found another way to get past the entire program.

klog_tmf
01-12-2008, 06:11 AM
pretty dumb idea to bring out the laser buffing thing

eatyourpaint
01-21-2008, 04:29 AM
they oughta just go straight to the source exterminate the graffiti writer. put chemicals and all sorts of organ consuming chemicals in spray-paint...oh wait...

shit ain't happenin the gov. don't have enough money for that shit.
you really possibly think that peeps are gonna pay the money need
to make this stuff. I don't think they are gonna waste that much money
just for graff buffing. What is that shit a laser that blasts about paint.
HELL NO it ain't happening

laser= $50 per sq. ft.
paint= $27 per gallon
which is gonna win

even though the citys have more money to spend then the writers do, the writers are more determined.

not to mention that was written like 8 years ago and i've yet to see it make a difference
i think were ok

maybe one day we might have to try to stop the buff, but for now, if you think about it, do we just paint over the buff? in 20 years we might have to go twice as hard, or we might be able to just relax...more writers are comeing up now and there doing damage. trust me, we WILL win this stupid fuckin war about ART...who the fuck in there mind would argue that?

attentat ahhht
01-24-2008, 07:44 PM
I'm obviously just as much against the buff as the rest of you, but I have to agree that this is more interesting than that protein shake shit brown buff bucket they usually use and jesus christ, IT'S A GIANT FUCKING LASER. Can you imagine dragging a huge laser into bushwick or fruitvale?

cuz.u.dont.no
01-26-2008, 06:07 AM
they wont do that shit its too expensive

01-27-2008, 01:27 AM
I declare: in the future there will be no secrets, the second you walk out your door with a bag of paint and the intent to bomb a robot will blast YOU with a laser.

maybe thats just me though..

in a city a couple miles from here the police department introduced this type of metal that they are going to use on surfaces in highly traffic'd graffiti areas. I dont know much about the technology of it but the surface somehow detects mediums being used on it, and it turns notifies the police where the spot is being hit and in turn the perepretrators apprehended. sounds like some robo cop shit, i know.
