The Writers Forum no longer accepts public registrations. In order to become a member, you must be invited. There are several ways to receive an invitation, which are all listed when you attempt to REGISTER (http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/register.php).
If you're already a registered member, then you do not need an invite to maintain your membership. This is for new members only!
--------------------------------------------------
If you are already a member and would like to invite someone, then this is how it's done... In order to qualify for invites you must have a minimum of 1000 posts. Further, invites are allocated based off your performance. The more you participate, the more invites are allocated to you. You will get ___ for every ___ posts, but by the same token you will have ___ invites deducted from your stash for every week of inactivity. Invites are allocated automatically based on these guidelines on a weekly basis. Anybody caught spamming or posting nonsense, or violating our RULES (http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_rules)
, risk losing their invites. Once you have some invites your free to do as you oplease with them including giving them away, trading them, or selling them (http://www.ebay.com).
--------------------------------------------------
To use your invites, go to your USER CP (http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/usercp.php) and in the bottom of the left menu list will be a lisiting for Invites (http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/invites.php). In this area you will see how many invites you have, a simple email form for sending out invites, and a history of sent invites as well as their status. Sent invites expire after 30 days, but the user will also be reminded of their pending invite once every threee days until they accept or decline your invite, or until the invite expires.
--------------------------------------------------
Here is a screen grab of what a non-member sees when they try to register. It also explains all the various ways they can get an invite...
