Marijuana is harmless. Even the highest potency of it used properly is just fun and thats it. It helps people it doesnt hurt them or the community.This aspecially if it was taxed it would help the community in a significant way. It is none of the governments business what you do in your home nor is it their business what you put in your body. Cigarettes and alcohol should be illegal before any kind of marijuana. I would much rather smell and smoke marijuana than cigarettes. Alcohol causes people to get in car accidents and die.

Just another way to lock up poor people. Without weed being illegal the economy would suffer greatly, let see, with weed being legal it gets rid of drug dealers who usually spend their money on expensive items that support our economy and without drug dealers the jail dont have as many prisoners and then they cant make as many items using unofficial slave labor and also the state then have less citizens which means no more money same thing with crack. They ship it then make it illegal to sell it. Thats another reason why you get so much time for crack but then if you have 5 times as much cocain you get like 1/5 of the time, why, because who uses and sells cocain....rich people and who sells crack....poor people.

there are 13 states that have legalized it to some point. There is currently a bill on congress regarding the state laws NOT being overridden by the DEA, thereby making it legal in sone states, no questions asked, no worries of the feds comin in. It will more than likely be legal within 15 years.
There is also an idea brewing in DC about legalizing all drugs, and treating addiction like a medical problem rather than a legal issue. Other countries that have done this have seen drastic reductions in abuse of substances and fewer cases of multiple "offenders"

I just read this article and they are referring to people charged with manufacturing or distributing marijuana with a potency level greater than 15%. Yet alcohol can be sold at (where i live) state owned stores with potency reaching 98%. There is some serious dissonance in laws right now.
