Yea, personally, I don't like Kers' style either, but I do gotta give him props for getting up.

I never even heard of the guy before (sorry, don't know much about "bombers") but he is either here in Seattle or he was recently.. and it's kinda hard not to notice (especially here by the college). I'm glad that (so far) I have noticed a sense of respect by him tho. A lot of kids up here will paint anything (including, but not limited to small (cool) business' and homes and fences and shit). Fuck all that.

on one hand we have people like kers. say what you will but his shit is precise. for the style he does, it is perfect. a toy is unstable and always misses thier intention. kers locks his stuff exactly how it was planned. it is perfect for its aesthetic.

that EQUIS or whatever you call it, is sloppy, the lines vary in width, there are odd shapes that dont work, the letters aren't even letters, they are bars that "kind-of" make up a letter and if someone was to glance they would never be able to read it.

let's compare graffiti to music here for a minute.

Isnt there any band you like that is really rugged and fucked up but somehow just sounds perfect that way? how bout the GERMS, or the SEX PISTOLS for instance (if you are into punk) they were fucked up and nasty sounding, but clearly some of the best bands of the era.

there are thousands of bands that are highly skilled, well produced and you know what? they suck and nobody pays attention to them because the music has no vision or DRIVE to it.
