what caps are you using? try pulling back further away from the wall. shake the can more , you can let out some pressure and all the paint will still come out, also you dont need to dump that much out ....haven't gotten any rusto recently cept the sea glass from trout and that was dated 2007 on the can so maybe rustos watering donw the formula...

Easy rack tho, because I've never seen cameras on 'em. I'd say just rock with the whites and blacks. The reason why that paint sucks is because it's used for flowers and so its really watery

Design Masters Ultra Flat Black is good. I only use NY Thins on them.
Colorplace mixed with some other stuff should give a nice transparent effect.
I like to use a little bit of everything. Just finding my preferences.

Yeah it has a weird size to it. I did have a female cap that seemed to have a larger hole (haha) but I couldn't pull that adapter out of it. Too cold in the mornings and I wasn't about to go home to get some pliers before hitting work. I will test out some stuff and let people know. Keep info floating for future references.

You need to practice more dog. I can paint with anything and it wont drip. Move your hand faster, and keep your hand a little further from the wall. When u get better, then u can switch over to the fancy stuff. The type of paint wont make u better. Practice will. Keep at it.:D

what are the reviews on sabotaz? How does it stand up against sunlight and how opaque is it? Standard euro caps fit it or NY caps?

I like it, the valve is pretty good, euro style caps so no ny outlines. Some colors are just banging I have said it before and I will say it again atlantis is one of my favorite blues ever! But some are a bit spotty, the yellows and oranges, in my experience. As for uv resistance, I really dont know how well it stands up in the long run.

EDIT: Before you use it shake the shit out of it and blast the "silly string" out w/ a fat cap. That shit will clog a thin tip in a heartbeat.

most quality paints have a silly string that needs to be expelled with a pink dot or astro fat really quick.

german outlines fit on em? and how is the flare/fill with an orange dot? A lot of yellows/oranges don't have enough pigment to cover dark colors in qualtiy paints, that's pretty common. Anybody know about uv resistance? looking for longevity for sure.

German outlines fit on Sabotaz, and dont use their Yellows. It sucks! But I love the blacks, blues, whites, and chromes. Its comparable to MTN 94.

sabotaz will eat belton with coverage! pretty much old montana gold but higher pressure and it will stand for yrs on wall... and y fluor yellow,sulflur yellow and rape yellow are pretty bad if we are talking about coverage... orange's are decent.

Maybe 20 different brands from a time when it was still a real mission to get hold of a decent range of colours in England. Working around all the reactions from overlapping different paint formulations was a real chess game.

In the mix you can see some original Marabu Buntlacks with the horizontal logo, the choice of 80’s Euro kings. Then there are some bland England car paint colours vs vibrant German car paints. I never really figured out why they’d want a mauve or purple motor but cheers for the colours anyway.

Standing black and proud in the front is a French Sparvar picked up from our Parisian friend Simonz - he’d bring us a carrier bag over every time he’d go back to visit his fam.

The foot soldiers of the army are some classic standbys of the British scene - filthy Japlac enamel, Stonechip black and Finnigan’s Smoothrite from before they ruined it. Most British 80’s / early 90’s graffiti was outlined with it - black, white, blue, green, red, yellow and that’s your lot. I recall Vulcan from NY saying it was the best outline paint in the world.

hey, i have a project to do this weekend on wood for my friends Wakeboard RailJam.. we have a 42'-4' plywood A frame to cover. First we're rolling it all black as a background. (also to help w the paint eating...) buuut i reaaally would like some advice on how long we need to let that base coat sit before we waste this poor rich dudes money on a bunch of paint before hand. Also would regular old Rusto do the trick? i mean its in water. Riders will be shredding wall rides all over the sides.. seems like a lost cause to even attempt such a risky project.

Let that base coat sit until its dry to the touch, ideally.

you could probably start to sketch the stuff out when its tacky though.

dont fill in stuff till its dry to the touch.

let the ramp sit in direct sunlight as much as possible while its drying. this goes for the base coat and the rap letters.

using plywood and letting it soak in water without any treating is pretty high on the stupidmeter but you've no control of that. spend some dough and get rusto clearcoat for it, it will help the paint last longer even if the rest of the platform falls apart.

TON. we have the wood sitting high enough out of the water on frame supports that we can either paint on jet skis or by pulling it close to the dock so the water wont be much of an issue. i hope the wood was pressure treated pine seeing as how it was built by a dock company here out of AL and they take their wood pretty seriously haha. no worries.

HI, im based in the UK and only started getting into graff a few months ago. Most of my stuff is on paper atm, although ive done a few stencils round my neighbour hood, but i wanna get more into doin pieces etc...

Basically i wanted your opinions on Auto-k paints, they are meant for cars but i know a few writers have used them. I have used Montana Gold, and thats amazing but its bloody xpensive. I managed to secure a deal on about 65 cans of Auto-ks for just over 50p a can! But wanna know how good they are considering they aint graff paints. Although since they are meant for cars they are probably pretty permenant and have good density.

Off the bat, it’s aimed straight at the Montana Hardcore market and comes in at the same sort of price – it’s a very similar paint in that it’s gloss, and has a very similar level of control and fillability. It’s from China, so I get the impression based on the smell as well it’s yet another variant on the Ironlak/Illuminarty theme, and you even get the same silly string business at the start of the can.
I chose Matt Black, Opal green, Magenta, Magenta Middle, Pure Blue, Yellow Green, Dark Purple, Light Green, Purple Middle, Baby Blue and Light Blue. The black was the nuts, Opal Green was a nice turquoisey green and the Dark Purple is fantastic. All the colours I’ve used have been fine, with only one can jamming.
I wouldn’t recommend this paint if you were planning to do micro detail in a piece as the pressure doesn’t really allow for that level of detail. Also, I’ve been using the paint in cold weather too and it hasn’t let me down, in the cold it performed better than Montana Gold and Montana Hardcore on another occasion…I’ve seen it react with other paint a little bit, I put some belton over the top and it lost a little opacity so I had to give the belton another hit. But that was the only reaction I’ve seen.
It’s pretty decent paint – it sits nicely, the colours are solid and bright (although I have yet to test the yellows and oranges, an area 94 has sewn up), great for filling but not for details.

good interview. I love some belton but i still say my fav paint for piecing atleast is montana gold. esp their new acrylic line. the range of colors the pressure the crispness of it and most colors are very thick and cover like crazy. besides some of the oranges and yellows.

The paint is more budget than Ironlak? Do all the colors bleed through white, not just purples and reds?
it's kind of a budget line more marketed to the general public rather than the graff community.
will do a more thorough test but I think it's basically a more glossy ironlak.
(I don't really use ironlak as I hate the smell and since every piece in australia is done with it nothign stands out)

yeah it is. i never buy it with my own money. everytime i do a mural job i use that money to buy a ton of it and dont use any. i buy so much from my local store i usually get it between $5 and $6 a can. which isnt to bad. only one store in my area has the belton cans and they are $9 each there so i never buy them. one store used to carry them but not many people bought em so they quit carrying them. i got some from there when they had them. but they were cheaper.

i wouldnt mind trying some of the newer ones though. that green they sprayed over the white and black look real nice and buttery.

yeah, well i dont think that molotow is that good and it cost a lot.
Bombers best crome, montana tar black and montana black, is my favorite combination, the Bombers best crome, has the perfect pressure and covers very well, i can make one 600 ml can last for 2 4x4 peices. the Montana tar i has good pressure and is not to sticky, and the montana black just have a good pigment.
if you havent got any money, i can recomment plasti-cote metallic crome and black, it is ok, but its free if you have a big enough bag.

Bombers best, is also pretty cheap. i think you can order it from their web page if you wanna try it out.
the problem with plasticote is that the paint dries pretty slow, so sometimes it is still wet when you put the outline. but it is still almost free.

Newton Street... I would say its Chinese, but it looks more like it might be German made judging by the style/printing of the color donut, and the fact that it has an actual Euro/German Outline cap instead of a Chinese knock off cap. Could mean that the valve actually sprays consistently.

Dope, just going by the plain black overcap and glossy color ring, I would say that is a Chinese produced product. I could be wrong though.

I dont like the smell. Glad they reduced that. Also, the only color I like is the black. Very similliar to MTN94, but the smell.....

I try to keep a couple cans of Ironlak "serum red-black" on hand for just that reason, the buff is brutal out here on the freeways, and that color bleeds thru "freeway grey" and "sound wall beige" like a champ. So even after the buff gets to it, its still running.
