Damn my molotow and montana gold wont shake up for shit. I would shake the cans for like 3-5 mins straight and they still came out like bubbly water and not a crisp line. Does anyone have any suggestions, maybe use a hair straightener to help loosen up the caking, or maybe letting some pressure out. The colors that dont work are as follows.

its not an idea, its a well known way to lower pressure, just spray upside down, unless you have one of the newer cans, then, you cant do it i dont think.

I was using some kilz white primer last night, first can i'd used, figured i'd give it a try my boy says its dope...anyways, 3/4 into my fill the can just starts sputtering and misting, and finally looses all pressure...and this is still mostly full of paint. Do these cans like leak or something? I had it in the trunk of my ride for awhile with no cap in it... It was also pretty cold, but i had it in my coat and shook it up, any idea what was up?

So i found this close out place with dollar cans, its all old plasti-kote and krilon 11oz cans. The plasti-kote is late 80's to mid 90s and the krylon 90-93. Alot of it is auto paint, like buick red and chevy blue. I've heard the pigment is different on old paint, especially krylon. They work great on the freights, but will they fade any faster? Any older heads know?

kid learn to spell and if you haven't noticed every type of paint has its application (drips, flare, fades, ect.) and a lot of other people know how to use each paint a different way so grab a can, spend the $3 and try it, if you can't buy it rack it don't be a pussy. And make sure you stop skipping your english class because you should learn how to spell before you try to write on a wall...... Cans don't come with spell check.:lol:

Anyways, yes kills is good.
If you have average to good can control (which i doubt you do JOSIR) then you can make super skinny lines.

But the colors i used do NOT cover over Krylon UFB for sure.
But they will cover on a regular wall really well.
Basically what im saying is they're are great as main fill colors.
And no drips if you know what you're doing.

Definately good schtuff and good colors (their light green is great as are their other lighter colors.)

Only real negatives are the non interchangeable tips (although they have a pretty good stock) and not a huge color selection.

then pop one off of a normal krylon can.

female valve- receives the cap
male valve- cap receives protruding valve.

The difference, at least for me, is the ability to switch caps. With female valve cans, you can put other caps (such as rusto fats, ny skinnies, etc) on to get different kinds of lines. The problem with male cans is that there aren't pre-defined after market caps for them. I.E. You have to look for them yourself and experiment. I don't really mess around with male cans for that reason, female AA's are easy enough for me to get.

Sorry if that was really basic and obvious, just trying to help. If your still lost I bet there's more information in the CAPS SOOPERTHREAD.

Well, technically they should be the same I would think, both should have a sort of medium-thin line, but it seems to me that whenever I've had to use a male can theres more overspray and its harder to control....some people complain that rusto painter's touch got shittier and more watery when they switched caps as well, Idk about this, but I do know I'd take a female can over a male can if I had the choice any day.

But I dig kilz they have good colors especially for doing perspectives,I like the caps but they suck when it is cold out. Make sure you shake that shit hard to because kilz is super thick and will bubble up.

ON the other note. i tried the Valspar enamel, and it is like krylon but thinner. They got nice colors and all but not that worth it. Even though it is a female can. They dont spray like they should with certain caps. The fat caps on them suck, the only cap that really works on them is there stock cap, which is pretty bad. I say Painters touch would be the better choice

I worked the paint section at a local hardware store. Most stores don't carry every color, just the popular ones that will sell. You can ask them to special order you a pack of these, and they usually will.

Im well aware of what brands of paint to use for whatever purpose. The reason I asked about the "stops rust" line is because the monotony of using harbor blue, sunburst yellow, and the other limited colors for bombing gets dull and throwin dark purple and other colors in the mix would add more options for my bombs. BTW Graff did not start in NY, it was merely elevated into the artform we know today, graff has been around since ancient times....

Just finished off my Ironlak, which was a hefty amount. Stuff is great. I re-emphasize the idea of people interested giving it a try.

Jake- Is the valve to far down for the caps neck to reach it? I can't tell from the picture, but I remember an old type of contruction marking paint that had these weird caps. It looked like the neck on the cap was double the length of normal caps. If so, then you found yourself that paint and good luck ever finding a cap like that. If not than you probably just have a fucked up valve or it's clogged.
