Trumbull in the daytime is strraight... or at least it was back when I used to paint there. Most people that ride by (I am one of em) are pretty cool about it... But I would leave the beer at home, and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take your empty paint cans with you. DO NOT blow up the spot by makin' a mess.

you would be very very surprised to find out what is actually on those freight lines that you have no interest in.... stuff painted on a freight line in a spot where "no one who gives a shit will ever see it" is likely to last until the paint fades away...

maybe you see no value it the hunt for new spots, or the adventure of getting to some really out of the way place, or the pleasure of painting something illegal that is even more chill than a legal wall... or the comfort of knowing that you can do a piece and its not going to get gone over the next day...

maybe you like doing the same spots over and over again.... good for you if thats what makes you happy... but for me, I have a much better time putting a little more effort into it... I have pieces in towns you have never even heard of...

Disagree. Graffiti will always be about getting up and getting fame. If you don't care about getting fame or "up" why bomb? Or go to "graffiti events" knowing that your "art" is going to get gone over in a matter of days? Why not just paint at home on a canvas so you can appreciate your artwork?

Well said but I disagree with you. Everyone enjoys a little fame, myself included, but that's really not important to me anymore, especially in our friendly little scene here. I have a few spots that I hit that no one else really comes to, so why would I hit it up repeatedly? I do it for me. As for shit getting gone over, it's nice to run but I always have the flick. And when they start making easily concealed, inexpensive canvas that runs around 8'-10' I'll paint at home a little, but it's not like being outdoors or getting that adrenalin rush.
As for bombing, I hardly do it and when I do I don't even use my name. No offense to the harcore bombers, but most will not be famous, and there is a big difference between being recognized and being famous.
In any event, your language and mannerisms are questionably familiar so perhaps you will call if you wish to finish the conversation. :) Peace.
