euro train graffiti isnt just a walk in a legal park. Its still hard and they deserve credit..... if so many people took pride in nyc trains, they would be crushed, and writers would push back.... these dudes come over, barely know the ropes, jump in the yard and have crushed them and dip out without a trace.... I believe they deserve some credit here.

Above all... I'd much prefer them painting clean trains and giving me among other writers that the possibility is still alive to paint cleans, and have them ride and that nyc hasnt 100% given up on it.

I would also prefer them be painting anything illegally than covering the side of some shitty school yard with some unwelcoming comissioned mural. So many people are talking about euros coming into our streets, but then we have dudes coming over here, and getting paid to go over beautiful ILLEGAL peices like that peice of shit Jace just painted over TABOO and HOST on houston street.

to the euros talking shit about the nyc clean train painters past and present...know your role and respect your past. you all would have jack shit if it wasn't for new york city. talk all you want about how hard it is to paint cleans in europe, but 95% of you won't ever go to go to new york and feel that vibe. you'll never know what it was like back then, or what it's like now. in 82, people were having parties in yards. in 92, people were lucky to hit panels, in 02 in a post 9/11 america, you could never realize the chances one takes by damaging the MTA. even being in the tunnels or yards could warrant them holding you under suspicion of being a terrorist. with the patriot act, anything's possible. i've been to new york before and after 2001, and i can honestly say the city's changed from how i remember it being in the 90s.

i've seen tons of europe clean train videos, and i love the vibe going on over there. i went to paris in 96 and was completely blown away by so much shit. i don't want to take anything away from the dudes hitting cleans in eruope because doing it anywhere is going to be difficult or near impossible but keep in mind that half the guerilla-style station hits and backjumps done in these euro videos would be next to impossible to do in new york. you wouldn't be dealing with the panzy rail cops who have to wait 5-6 minutes for the cops to get there.
anyway, respect to anyone doing subway hits anywhere, because it requires huge, giant elephant-like testicles to pull that shit off. just think twice before you knock the birthplace of the culture you try so hard to eminate.

i am not from new york. ive never even been there. im from a place where the only train you can hit is rusting in a farmers field or a random wreck along the old lines. i dont know nearly as much about graffiti that i would like to. but i do know this its not about a name, its not about the fame. its about gettin people sitin in aw while a line of pannels fly past them maybe even a whole car and all they see is a blur of color and a flack back to their youth. whats better you name on a wall witch everyday people dont even bother looking at anymore cause it just blends in with the rest of it, or to have your name on a train even if its only up for a few hours, it will bring people back to a time when subways were the only free art galleries to even the most down troden parts of the city.

u can see that the panel was done on a new jersey path train. if u look at the ridges and vents as well as doors and windwos they are not any model of nyc mta trains. they are the silver PATH trains, most people think that the path trains are only white but there are some odler silver ones rolling around still. and there is no place even inside the state of new york that those can be painted or have been. sooo ignore the hype. granted path trains do run to the world trade center in new york. and have another station or 2. all togather dope panel none the less and definately loose flicks sink ships. especially that uran one due to the wires and pole in the flick. battleship down! naw im just playing but yea i blew it up with my loose lips.

ya'll should take a hard look at the recent bust of a big name transit writer in nyc,and learn from that.
my nyc transit leaked onto this site last year and i was pissed off man.just cause thats for me and my close friends.
transit will get your ass locked up in the 07,use your heads kids.yes having a fresh panel flick is basically the best it gets.
no let me rephase that.nothing beats real steel.and a fresh panel flick is allways a highlight of my career,pulling something like that off.
