man im actually legit sorry for my stupidity but i cant quite get it. heres what im doing and im using flickr
1. highlighting the link given when i click properties on my photo
2. clicking on the image box and deleting all the blue so that its white when i paste the link
3. clicking quick reply.

If Ive left out an incredibly crucial step and really just am an idiot then i apologize again but should this not work?


If you're using flickr, here's a fail safe step by step for you:


1. Open can with a can opener.

2. Go to your flickr page.

3. Click on the photo you want to post. When that opens, it will be the photo page. At the top of the photo is a tool bar. There is one with a magnifying glass that says "All Sizes."

4. Click the tab that says "ALL SIZES."

5. That will open up a page with the LARGE size of the photo. As you see at the top of the photo, there are available image sizes.

6. Pick the one that suits your need. Don't post super large photos on 12oz. It annoys everyone. So if you go to the "ALL SIZES" page, and the image is wall paper size, click "Medium" and see if that fits better.

7. Once you've picked the right size, go to the bottom of the image. You'll see two text boxes with links in them. They are:


1. Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage:
2. Grab the photo's URL:


For 12oz purposes, you want to use #2. #1 is for embedding the image into a blog or website.

8. COPY the 2nd text box's link.

9. With the link copied, you come back to 12oz. Go to your the text box where you write your post. At the top of that box is a panel of tools. In it, you will see this http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/images/12oz/editor/insertimage.gif.

10. Click http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/images/12oz/editor/insertimage.gif and it will prompt a text box that asks for a link. Post the Flickr link in there and click "Quick Reply" or whatever it says for "ENTER."

This will post the image code into your message, so make sure you have the text cursor lined up to where you want the image posted. This also works for hotlinking from Google. All you have to do is search images, then go to the "VIEW IMAGE" page, copy the link and post it with this http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/images/12oz/editor/insertimage.gif.

1 - There are many websites that can upload pictures for you, I personally use http://tinypic.com/

2 - When your at the page, you will see a few options to upload. Make sure that the File Type is on "Image"
You can add tags to your photo if you'd like. *tinypic personal use
You can also share the photo through Email and resize your photo (ALL OPTIONAL)

3 - After you have those options to the way you want them, click "Browse" and look for your photo
*It should be located in "My Documents > My Pictures" Depending on where you save your pictures.

4 - After you've found the photo, click "Open" to make sure you are uploading the correct picture.
When the upload is complete, you will see something similar to this.

5 - now that you uploaded it. click on the:

IMG CODE FOR FORUMS & MSG BOARDS

then paste it onto the thread.

this is the quickest way to post something that is not our computer.
