man, i hate complaining, but sooo many of these flicks are from like 98!!! devers shit has gotten a 1000X iller since then...i know id be bummed seeing my lame ass 98 trains...if only i had a scanner!!!! i have easily 200 dever fr8 flix.

I remember one time a few years back a few buddies (RIP cuser) and I went to the yard to paint. As we were walking down the line, picking good cars, I spotted a really nice Dever panel on a Conrail flat. I liked it so much that I sidebusted that shit out of it. Well, I did the bar panel, but I still painted on the same car. I also got night time flicks of it, but pretty much anything from before 2001 is lost somewhere. I think the piece is on www.upstatestyles.com (http://www.upstatestyles.com) , but the site won't load for me.

my favorite dever story involves me him and NECS getting rolled on by a gangster after painting fr8s. the dude punched NECS and although he fell over, he still didnt drop his 40...lol. then he mushed DEVER into his car window and i tried to pull him off, but the whole time, he has a gun in his waist, all in the open....so when i grab him, he flips out, like "you cant touch my shit!!! (he had on a all red all matching fubu sweatsuit!!) you cain't AFFORD this!!!" we did look like bums in our painting gear, but it was hard not to laugh at someone bragging on a fubu sweatsuit.

anyways, even though it was 3 of us and one of him, no one wanted to do shit cause he was strapped, so we are all like, dude, well roll...and he wont let us leave until we explain why were in his hood. were like dude, were just painting the fucking trains!! and hes like all offended, and goes "what?! do i look stupid? this aint no new york! aint no grah-feetee on no trains here!!!" and we're like showing him spray paint and shit and hes not buying it...finally he let us roll, but ill never forget seeing NECS knocked down on the ground, but somehow saving his 40 and not spilling a drop. ah-mazing. we drove off with the quickness.

actually i have a million dever stories, like that roller that starts off this thread, we almost got caught doing that...and the police climbed down and used the roller pads to diss our shit!!! we all hid in like nackyads and shit for hours hiding that night..it was so ill. onorok went back one night and fixed all of ours though.what a great team....TYC!!! true youth culture!!!! my dev stories .. well they're not really stories..

dever's mom used to babysit me... i remember playing castlevania on dev's nintendo.

dev and the kids of the block once built this huge ass half pipe during the animal chin days. i used to love watching them rock that shit. they were actually pulling shit like airs and lil grabs off that crazy ass vert.

there's a fine line between kids growing up in the 80's and 90's.. kids from the 80's had to actually live shit up ...i don't even know what's up with kids these days.

i love the TYC shit and what it stands for... if kids these days only knew..
i'm not saying all kids don't.. but most kids these days are in a different world.
