It seems to me that there's an awful lot of shit chatting in this post, and maybe if people were to take a slightly more positive attitude to peoples opinions and use constructive critisism, instead of just slaggin people off, this whole post might be a bit better.

One other thing:

From what i understand from reading books n mags about graffiti, the New York scene in the 70's and early 80's thrived because the majority of people took a positive attitude towards the competition.

Later, in the mid to late 80's, when security got tighter, spots got hotter etc, people started hating a lot more, it all turned negative and as we know, subway graf kinda died for a while. Whilst i know that the London scene is different etc, maybe we could all learn a lesson from what happened there?

Again this is just my opinion but in the end we're all here for one reason - graf

Look i totally respect anyone who goes out and paints and puts the effort in, because in the end thats what it's all about. You may not agree with Loco, B0b etc but you have to conceed that they do bring a lot to the UK threads, including some very fresh flicks.

And what i said about typing in full, wasn't a dig at anyone in particular, i've just noticed on a few different threads that it's easier to take people who type properly seriously because what they say is more comprehensible.

I've never made money off other people's work. Not sure how doing videos is selling out and all about the money, when I last checked most people quite liked videos, some people are happy to appear in videos and magazine. But again that's not what I do.

On the foreigner front I think the time thing is more about not knowing your surroundings. If I went to a city with a reputation as hardcore as London I wouldn't take any chances by wasting time in the yard, unless of course you're taken there by the locals. But then of course they're the people you should blame.

I only commented because I don't see the point of moaning about this on the internet. People are gonna paint, whether they're good at it or not. Some obviously progress to steel earlier than others. Kids don't know they're shit, I can't imagine I'd have asked for permission when I was starting out.
