back up and jsut make sure your shit looks right straight on....i get that with some sertain walls to jsut take your time and make it look nice....i usually try to avoid ridgy cars but if all else fails im down to paint one...ive painted some gondolas with liek 7-8 inch ridges before....

if you can't handle the terrain, then don't play.....
why are writers such crybabies about everything ? just be thankful you have something to paint...and if you can't handle a bar or a ridge or a curve or a bump or a spot of rust or some snow or maybe mosquitoes or perhaps a bull or angry crackhead, then do something else with your time...

Good freights = lots of practice.
When I first got started I painted on metal shit in my back yard to get used to the change from wood and brick to metal.
