the hitachis are being taken out as the new ones come in.. sort of simultaneous.. they will be around for a few years

i think one of the main reasons is cause they arent air conditioned, and having got on a couple that have just been pulled out of the yard after 3 hrs in 34 degree heat, i can understand that..

was told yesterday by a gumby that we werent gettin em anymore, I went up and asked the guy acting if I hated the hitachis (it was fucken hot) and their non airconditioning (which is bs I fucken love the harrys like a brother) and he said in no uncertain terms that we werent gettin em or that it would take a whole nother year before we do at the earliest. The guy was just being cynical I reckon. On franger line yesterday I reckon four out of five trains were hitachis. It sucked cos i wasnt out loopin and wanted the air conditioning of an m train but couldnt catch one to save my life. Eventually I caught one but damn those harrys are fuckin uncomfortable in the heat. Nice stains though.

hahaha tie me kangaroo down sport, we know and dont take shit for granted. We are just counting down the days before we lose our beloved Hitachi branded models, which are kinda like an old NY ridgy albeit with curvier sides. They are lovely trains to bomb and theres also a lot of confusion about who is supposed to run the transport system here, a privately owned company (who ordered the new models to replace the Hitachi) or the state government who allowed graf to flourish a bit back in the early 90's when they had total control. Now our system was split into two entities when it went private and only half of it has been handed back to the government in the recent shake up which saw the British operator reneg on its 10 year contract. What this ultimately means is that noone really knows if and when these new trains are still gonna roll out on the half of the system that is publically owned. Confused? Praise your lucky stars you dont have to rely on this system to get to work in the morning.

well Im an old timer who will cry the day they take these trains outta service, and yes it will be harder to bomb insides (my main occupation) as these new Siemens models (they also make trains in some european cities) will have surveillance cameras and will be geared toward greater passenger comfort (which means crappy inside panels made of glass and advertisments). They also have a very curved outside surface which just plain looks wak, as compared to our Hitachis. We will still have our newer (but still old) Comeng models, which have all been refitted with glass panels and better security cameras, but at least the outsides are still the same as ever. alright, sorry to bring this up again but i just had to give my opinion, although posting a panel with the name of the writer under it obviously isn't THE smartest thing to do, the fact that the cops know, or think they know who did the panel isn't going to prove shit if that writer gets dicked.
say for example, some dude writes ABC, one of his galves is chucked on the net with ABC written under it, when ABC gets dicked and goes to court, the police saying "some kid on a site said that ABC did it" isn't going to prove jack shit. the fact that i write ABC under a panel, doesn't prove that he did it, that is just, in my opinion, what it says, it doesn't mean it definately says that. i hope this made sense........but i don't really care. then again, say ABC gets dicked, so he changes his word to BLAH, if someone posts up a BLAH panel and writes "blah by abc" under it, then it is obviously going to give the cops an idea who blah is, and possibly raid blah/abc, getting him dicked once again. just use common sense.
