i have seen a lot of revok's work in person and i am still amazed by some of the spots he gets and pulls off. he deserves every ounce of respect.

how rev and zes and company piece those I-beams remains a fucking mystery to me. my west coast friends have explained to me over and over how it gets done, but i STILL cant believe that you can pull off a piece, down to your toes, with inside designs, 3-d, highlights in the 3-d, a shell, tags, etc. seriously, even WITH ropes, my nerves would be fuckin so shaky, i think the best i could pull off would be a fillin, and even then, only like down to my waist. in addition, theres GOTTA be lots of sway on those things with traffice going under you AND on top of you..not to mention people honking.....simply amazing. fuck all the shit talk, revok, zes, all them cats get my respect for pulling off ill pieces on Ibeams. over and over. the one on this page, blues with the pastel green out line and black shell...words dont do it justice.

another Ibeam thing ive noticed: ive been scoping these out here, considering trying to do one, but almost all overpasses here have i beams that either like3-4 feet tall or like 9 feet....the small ones seem impossible to work on and the tall ones you cant really work too far from the support pillar, because theres no top to the i beam you can use to scoo further out. maybe its cause the west coast (of LA in particular) has sooo many more freeways, but it doesnt seem right that we cant get down out here....

there is a definitive style of the northeast in the wildstyle that has been around since the begining of piecing.... lots of writers use it and many many arguements about biting could be pursued concerning it... but my question is why does everyone have such a problem with styles that have thin lines?? automatically if a piece has any thin work in it it gets called a west coast bite or a revok bite there are lots of cats that rock thin styles and dont resemble revok such as this cat natural(insane pieces) just mentioning and wondering...:confused:
