Sans, the sketches on that site you posted on the other thread are badass. A little too stylish for me, I preferr robots you can look at and understand how they work, but anyways the dudes have an awesome sense of line and volume. The site howevere, uh, nope. Cornflash stylez. But they redeemed themselves by making a video for Ian Pooley's "A Better Life", which rocks my pants. In other news:

I don't even wanna think about how long it must've taken to animate everything on that. Beer,

Haha, I've had the .ai templates for the designforchunks.com contests for over a year, but I've never come up with a clever idea for it!!

http://www.gmunk.com

Their latest layout is absolutely awesome, especially with the dancing black guy. And their broadcast design repeatedly punches me in the face with fists of awesomeness.

Example. (http://www.gmunk.com/2001_NYC_update/HVY_PROMO.mov)

Winamp3 is horrible. The layout is extremely clumsy and hard to get used to. I'm happy that the Winamp people recognized that some wouldn't like the changes and maintained the Winamp2 files and site.

Yeah I thought of the edit>copy>delete>new thread>paste option...

and you could delete all but the most current one.

so what's the deal mams?

Beardo's been fooled as well.... It is nothing supernatural I promise, even Mams has his "scientific" evidence of why the posts don't show the editing.... he's leading you all on a goose chase, I'd drop it... it's really nothing.

i can't believe you guys are calling this a graphik design superthread and no one's mentioned mike young, http://www.designgraphik.com, http://www.weworkforthem.com, and http://www.youworkforthem.com. he's the king of all graphik design, but i dont think he has any examples up on his site, http://www.designgraphik.com, right now.

Used to know the guy and his daughter who ran this site. Been through a lot of changes since I saw it in 1997-98, it's an old flash site and I'm surprised it's still around.

Honestly, though, it looked better than it does now.

Beer,
