and some title design and it gets mastered to tape.
These guys are driving Escalades and RangeRovers
so they better not balk when I tell them it's going to
be around a grand for my work. And you know I'm
holding their source tapes untill I see the cash.

So yeah, this thing over here in PR could be a salaried position, although they don't actively have any positions open. They told me that I'm free to come in and start learning all the equipment and help em out on a contract basis, and when their main editing/graphics dude leaves for full-time school, I'd take over the position. What I really wanna do is pump up the demo reel as you mentioned, get some real experience on the field, and then move at the end of the summer with my friends to a loft in downtown LA, with some real ammo to apply to places like Imaginary Forces (http://www.imaginaryforces.com/i) (where I have a few RISD friends working already and may have some leverage) and the such. Then I will buy a motorcycle, and try my best to become friends with some movie stars the same way I became friends with insanely rich people in PR.
