MY CITY -- A five-year-old boy shot in the face with a high-powered air pistol during a drive-by shooting spree has a pellet lodged near his right eye and was in a critical care unit at the **** Hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said Monday.

**** **** also said the parents of the boy -- who was hit while waiting at a bus stop outside the **** **** with his mother -- asked that the hospital not give out any other information about the boy, including if or when he might undergo surgery.

A team of doctors, including a brain surgeon, were called in to examine the child after he arrived at the hospital.

Just to clarify, they're being listed as a 19 y/o and 2 18 y/o I believe but I've heard mixed versions.

The 5 y/o boy underwent surgery today I believe as the pellet was lodged inside his skull, and he has lost all sight in his right eye.

I'd curb stomp all three of those losers for the shit they pulled. Kid was comin' back from the Indy 500 with his Mom when he was shot. How the fuck do you justify that? "We didn't mean to hit him" was their excuse. Who the fuck DID you mean to hit? His fucking mother?

Seriously...this is the kinda shit that's wrong with this world.

They're being tried as adults. I wish this was in Texas so they would fry, as the Canadian legal system is far too lenient. I truly hope they contract HIV in prison from being raped.

It's a little soft in the focus because I had the digi set to
lowest resolution and I had to use 6.4x digital zoom
(and about 9 bottles of Sol in my belly by that time).

but you can see the two kids getting cuffed and the gold suv they drove.

theres absolutely nothing wrong with fucking with contrast/saturation of digital pics in photoshop. if you were in a dark room you would do all that same stuff so why is it 'cheating' if you do it with a digital file? it is rare that anyone takes a photo that wouldnt be made better with the use of a contrast filter or a little dodging and burning.
not that im saying you were implying that, just saying that IMO theres nothing to be ashamed/afraid of.

as for the photoshopping debate.. i often fiddle about with contrast and colour levels, to varying degrees, cos my scanner tends to make things look paler and reduces contrast. also, in the photo of the bird on the powerline, the clouds were slightly pink-coloured because i used a skylight filter, so i adjusted that.

Hey sickboy, I got a minneapolis question for you. what shape is the old miluakee road train station in? when I was there last (a few years back) it was still super gnar. rusted out and boarded up. that whole trainshed just screamed "hop the metal fence and waste a whole roll on me" but I wasn't into taking pictures back then. always regretted it. I got a few shitty color ones...but I dont even have those around anymore....back in the praries at my folks house. just curious.

yeah i started doing that not too long ago, after going into the lab a few times with countless pictures of unoccupied scenes, fire escapes, empty stairwells, statues..

yo my digi cam can to shutter speed shots but only for like 5 seconds if your geting a diji cam make shure it can take b photos that means the camra will take a photo for as long you are holding down the button

also good things about digi cams is you can play about with the photos on a loda different programs witch can to b/w photos beside aloda over stuff

i just got back from the photo studio. i was there for 7 hours and i'm tired, but it was fun.

i started printing fiber paper today, on the suggestion of some peers, and it was worth the switch. i went larger too, 11x14 and some pictures just look better larger. the only drawback is that the paper is really delicate, and you have to be careful with how you handle it/develop it/wash it/dry it/etc. you also have to wait a day or two for it to air dry, and then hotpress it to get the rumples out.

well to start. i have allways loved photos and the process of taking them. i have never had a class or even know properly how to use the f-stop function for that matter. most of my scuesses are by accident and i kind of like it that way. maybe i will start taking classes to expand when i get bored of where i'm at now. to save time i put them in groups of two. this first is one of my accidents, i used a sunglass lens for the filter and it had some sweat and oil on it which caused the blurr on top. liked the back hoe too.

Fuck Walgreens developing, i go there thinking i can get fast developing that'll be fine, and they fuck up my whole roll. And not only did this roll contain some stuff just for fun, but it also contained some shit that i'm deadlined for later this week. Looks like i'm going to have to do that exact same shit over.
