Al Green

i found that photo a few years back walking along the highway somewhere.. it was in a pile of belongings.. it had a strange vibe to it.. but it was definitely covered in dew and had been chilling on the side of the road for a bit.

anyways i stuck it in this weird hidden sleeve in one of my painting bags.
and its basically gone on every mission ive done with that bag until just recently where i found it.

im guessing the state of the photo itself is not just from water damage but also shitty emulsion that has seperated cracked.. and peeled off. plus alot of sun damage.

Akira has the best action illustration I've ever seen in a graphic novel/ comic book. It was also key in the crossing over of the Japanamation work into the mainstream US pop culture. Speaking from the perspective of a real comic book fan/collector/artist... it changed the way that I look at illustrative story telling. True king status. bump for pumping Akira.

ive actually seen new murakami purses.

see the first series were incredibly easy to knock off.... theres only about 5 or 6 screens at most keeping production costs down and making it profitable.

the new series of more exclusive its like 15 plus colors meaning 15 plus screens.. ultra detailed meaning higher precision and tolerance requirements for production..

ok anyways.. back to the babble from my babble.

Anie NT (http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31617&highlight=anie)

The ultimate irony is that Anie has also been accused of being a toy biter.

Zes, dunno what you're trying to start.

cant really see the resemblence as far as the biting thing goes. I can see a little bit of the Kema/Push comparison, but not enough to say that Kema didnt sit down with an original thought when he did those letters up. Similarities? Sure, but I think it stops there.

And 13 liter... Lovin that too! One of those making something out of nothing pieces. Good show.

Thanks for the link on the Anie NT stuff. I don't remember who posted the similarities between that cat and Transcend, or specifically Kema and Ouija... but whoever it said that was obviously looking to stir up shit. Because that cat and anyone in Transcend have nothing... NOTHING in common.

when I was seventeen years old a half Japanese half Canadian graffiti writing, skateboarding, breakdancing bgirl moved in down the street from me in Cambridge, England. I was young and fell in love immediately, unfortunately she was 2 years older than me had some Gaylord roller-blading boyfriend and moved out after only a few months…I never really talked to her save from a few post pubescent grunts but im pretty sure it was love..she write phable/fable…that was in 1996, subsequently I obviously discovered the existence of Phable MSK and Pop Master Fable, Rock steady…..sorry, felt the need to share….
