I have a serious issue with women's pointy shoes. Oh no, don't get me wrong, I love high heels on women... it's the front points that get me. And actually, Ube's aren't bad, they have a proportionate point. The ones I can't stand are the ones that go into a really skinny point right down the center, like high-priced designer shoes. OH GOD NO. Hate them to death.

Besides the whole threatened-masculinity thing, I don't think that having a shoe's point go right down the center in any way emphasizes the natural foot shape. I like older shoes, where the point naturally comes up closer to the big toe rather than dead center.
