Today was a fuking weird ass day, and what added to that was the news that I recieved a couple of hours ago. Big King Kizer past away at the hands of a CTA train. What happened, only He knows. However, what I do know is that this muthafucka was one down as writer. He destroyed shit from north, south, east, and west. He put in his work, and I'll tell you, he left this world, but not really because his tags, scribes, fills and graff will be left for us to remember for years to come. I'm in disbelief...
that such a hardcore bomber could have such a fate...
En Pas Descansa... Kizer...

I was in like 7th grade and I went to this one chill, I had no idea what I was doing when it came to graffiti but like most, I was just fuckin' around. And at this certain spot there was the illest KIZER burner, I wished I could do that type of shit, and still do... He CRUSHED shit, I will post flicks tommorow. He will still have stuff up for years, no doubt.

much respect goin out to king kizer, he has been and still is a huge influence for me and mostly every other chicago writer. its sad to see writers go out at all , but especially when theyre so young. the chicago graff scene will never be the same, but we are all gonna have to step up and do what we can to to fill in the huge amount of work he put in.

Rest in Peace Kiser (cab/xmen)
Kise passed away August 16, 2004, doing somthing he loved, he was hit by a train on the Howard Red line. For those that know he was a northside redline king, but he'd also been all-city for sure. He'd been bombin for over 10 years and always kept it illegal. He knew what to bomb, when to bomb, and where to bomb, he was surely one of the few that knew what real graffiti was all about. He was also one real motherfucker, a no bullshit type of person, I am proud to have known him, and gravely sad at his passing at such a young age, he had just turned 22 last saturday. Please pay your dues, if you know him, met him, or have pictures of his work contribute, any little story will do. His name will certainly live on, if you visit chicago and look anywhere, in the smallest crack you will see his name. While other writers bombed the buffed brown walls, he MADE brown walls thru his insistence in hitting the virgin spots, this is a short collection of his work.
Rest In Peace Brother
you will be missed.

Yeah! I remeber that shit, KISE had that billboard, as he always had the billbaords on Western!! And TENOR and I think, MYNOR did those two billboards, and I was wondering if KISE was gonnna do antyhing. When I first saw it, I had to explain to my non- graff intelligent friend why what TENOR did was bogus. I could only wonder if KISE would do anything to take back the spot, or retaliate...Also, he had a KISER paint tag rockin for long has hell on the right side of taht billboard, and a 312 on the left.......Still can't believe he's gone...RIP
i personally never met or knew the guy but he was a good friend of my friends and was a dope chicago writer. REST IN POWER KING KISER!
