practice. but i personally like using rusto fats best, but just hold the can at an angle and tilt it a little to the left. try not to move your arm too much either its mostly in the wrist

just hold that can at an angle, and hold it farther away from the wall then you do for a fill. just mist the wall.

^^^ try that. yeaaaah baby said it well.
gold dots are pretty good for fading smaller areas.
blue dots work well for larger areas.
as far as caps go... the softer the spray the easier it is to fade. but dont rely on caps alone, develop your technique. the closer your can is to the wall, the more defined your lines will be.
knowing your colors is important too, some fade into others better and some dont. allow yourself to make errors in order to create an intamate undersanding of all the variables. trial and error my friend, thats what is gonna boost your skills.

hold the can back and practice, dont suck. You gotta go in with one, then back with the other, it takes practice

If the area you're going to blend is rather small, use stocks or thins.

You can use a gold dot cap to create a fade. The gold dots spray like a mist when held alittle bit farther away from the wall.

pink dots r the best for me, but really, the fatter the cap, the better the fade for me...like if i use a german outline cap, my fades are thin....if i use a pink dot, my fades are huge...i love ny fat's for fades tho...a ny fat on montana mmm mm delicious fade! :D
