Pen or pencil

Ive always been using pencil to sketch out my lines first before takin ink to the page...

Although av heard here an there people only ever usin pen. Is it good practice to just use pen?

dumb ass question. if your tryin to do a new piece use pencil first. if your tryin to get an outline down, use pen....

fair enough, thats what I used to do when I was regularly painting. I was jsut wonderin if there are some people who only use pen for any reason. Maybe because it improve their skill faster

Personally I only ever sketch the final outline, so only use a sharpie or similar. it is harder to get something good that way so means I have to work harder.

Anyway thread closed as I don't see it going anywhere or being of much help.
