I got this beauty (http://www.panasonic.co.uk/dvd-recorders/dmre100hebs/index.htm) from Panasonic about 6 months ago and am loving still. I wanted a hard disk recorder and ended up with this as it has dv in, so I can hook my digi camcorder up to it and copy all my nonsense footage to hard drive. Then I can edit it and dump it out onto dvd. Fantastic.

Still Tivo with dvd recorder would be cool. Who has got what?

We've got the one from the cable company. It rules. I no longer watch or wait for commercials.

I don't have any of those mechanisms. Although a Divx player would be nice..
