pick letters you can draw farely well, and create a fuckin name that actually looks decent. your a toy so who cares if the name makes no sence at all, worry about that shit when you got letter structure and style down. overall, your shit looks ehh but keep practicing and try to draw straighter, simpler letters. when i first started out i printed out a sheet of all differentr types of fonts that all said my name. then i just copied them over and over, and as you get better you can add style and whatnot. dont try to go wildstyle either, it ends up in failure.

2nd last is horrible. the simple ones are all good, clean. good. i personally really like that "efk1er" one..... i think it works really well. i would take that last one u posted and work on it, slowly start to try nu things..if they dont work, then go back... keep trying now. keep sketchin lots an it will keep gettin better. that 1st one looks like an interestin style...not to my personal taste, but eh, if u like it.... i dont think iv said nethin helpful yet, and i cant b bothered to keep goin. keep at it man,

blindboii... make the letters better, like more like what they should be... so for example, the B: the white bits"the 2 holes of the B) are in the wrong place. the D is the best. i like it alot.

tortech, if thats your first piece, then ooh. its mighty good. i really like it.

lastcar, i think the letters are too far apart, like he said b4, and i would change the K..personally dont like it..dont think it looks like a K somehow... and i dont like the Os..wit the things in the middle. try n make it all look like one thing, rather than a bunch of individual letters...u know.

kaos. the bottom right of the K is squigly and dont fit with the rest of the letters. i really like the A. and i think the hole in the O is a little big.

sorry if iv come off all judgemental n stuff.. but now u can all diss my page if u want... im bored of always doin bowtie..im experimentin wit other stuff...hehe. what a dude:

Some feedback for the other stuff on this page...

jank: Marvin the Martian piece is straight up fire.

AWProvidence: I really am not feeling anything until that FRESH throw, the PERO forth pic down... that throw fucking rocks. All those throws are tight as hell. But the rest... needs work.

KREM1: work on simpler letters but keep up your fills, 3D, halos and shit like that. It looks decent but the letters need work.

DKbmx: I'd break your letters down a bit simpler but keep everything else the same. Good use of the basic elements but the letters are not strong.

So there's some feedback for you all. Now tell me what sucks about my shit.

ilovevirginiandirtyneedles: those characters are fucking tight but those letters... I like the simple straight one but the rest... the fills are harsh and the letters need work.

Those characters burn, though.

vare one: overall I dig that but not so much overlap on the let side of the "U" and the "T" needs to be moved so that it doesn't look like an "R." Your 3D needs help. If you were going for a vanishing point behind the letters, you lost it in the top of the "T" and the "S" and the "U." I'd stick to 45 degree vanishing points until I had more practice under my belt with that.

By the way, for those that care, PEEGEE is back!

here are some general tips for a lot of you toys out there:

don't marker fill any of your shit yet. its a waste of marker and right now its making most of your shit look even worse.

dont fuck with 3-d. most graffiti isnt even in 3-d

find a real mentor... don't rely on the internet for shit most writers have had mentors. shit, i had one and still paint with him from time to time.

handstyles first and foremost. all graffiti is based on handstyle in some way or another.

finally let your pen flow. dont be afraid to waste paper. not everything you do will be good keep working.

canucmee, i really like personnally. the K9i think its a K) in the middle looks like its got oo much space tho...squeeze the letters in a bit... and the 2nd last letter needs fixing..it looks awkward. The S(looks like a 5..after the K i talked about) is a little fat..i like it but it looks a lil outa place... im prolly rong bout all that, but thats wot i think, safe.
enko, nicely drawn char, and the blaknwhite on colour works well..contrast n stuff... but the rest needs work, do a few pages of just pencil sketches of letters, see wot you come up with..do it fast and simple, u'll get there...

FLUX, nice to see somethin different. Bits are technically rong, like the bottom of the F overlaps where it shudnt i think..(?) I personally dont really like the arrows that come out of the page, if u get me... I mean the ones that are ment to b properly 3d, like to the right of the X. Its odd, but at least its original, safe man.

@PFLhammy, Yo that's what's up. Kinda where I am trying to go. Since it's just an outline right now aint much to say. But I think the shading is the most important part in pulling off 3D letters, so keep that in mind.

^Don't attempt a 3D just yet. Work on simples and block letters. But if you want to hear something positive, your 3D is straight. So what I'm guessing is that you have a neutral understanding of 3D when it comes to simple letters. So that's good. Post simples and we can start criticisng from there.

I didn't choose to crticise anyone else because I wasn't sure of what the others said. I can't even make out the tags. So yeah, dumb it down a notch. Mr. Penut, the 3D looks good. I can't say thesame for the letters because I don't know what the pieces say. Also, you overdid it with the arrows on that piece with the green backdrop. The piece looks clean but let's work on making your pieces a little more legible. The tag looks liek it says Yes, or Yues, or Tues, or something.

Enko, keep at it. There's not much to say about throw ups really. But I suggest laying off the highlight and the color. Just keep practicing.

melo the first one is on the way to being good. make the letters a bit thicker (sept the O..make that as thick as the rest of them). the arrow at start and end are bad. the kink in the bottom of the L looks odd. The middle of the o is skinny andwierd...try and make the hole between the middle of the E and its bottom less big. the M is good too but again i would the middle is a little skinny yaknow. thats wot i think on it anyway, feel free to ignore me, its on the way tho keep it up:)

heaz the cosla is by far the best for me. work on the C tho, and its goood. the enko is not so good.... put a 3d on it. the gaps between letters are too big ad like the N looks fat in sum places, etc.. that'll improve on its own tho, keep sketching. In general make sure all ur letters are the same height, a few of em get bigger as u go on..u get me? maybe draw guidlines along the top n bottom if u struggle with it, saffe man

haha at "bewbs"... it's nice, and it's comin' off clean, but if you bring the letters together a bit more, it'll start coming together nicely. Letter structure's nice... now it's time to bring it together, considering that you're comfortable with your letters.

Here's a general tip for noobs.

Now, this doesn't apply in all instances, but generally speaking try to stay away from this shape when sketching letters. I see this structure used way too often in sketches by new writers trying to come up in the game. Seems to be an instinctual impulse when your just starting out. Form you letters as simple as possible and build on that.

Heaz, that Comik is lookin' good, you're really mastering that C... the last one is a bit weird, because it's on a slant. If it was a bit more level, it'd look nicer, but nevertheless, it's nice.

And, in response to what Flavicon said, he's right... When I started writing, I was all over that shape, thinkin' it was the shit... that was about a year ago. But, I've learned my lesson...

melo, your throws are lookin' nice, but you've still gotta work on your piecework. Those arrows come out of nowhere, and they basically have no purpose... but, it's still alright looking. Just keep at it, and maybe try to fatten the m up a bit more. The M is what really irks me in the colored piece.

Mar, the throw is looking nice. haha, rawr... my advice would be to fatten it up. Give it some cookies or something.

flux, the one wit the arrows is bad. espesh the U...its very disprooportioned.
the 'black' one could get good but make the letterts the same width throughout, like see the B and bits of the K are v. skinny. i like the 3d stuff, espesh that S. its veryvery nice. keep drawing man:)

melo i like the piece. the E is v. nice. the M is too skinny in the middle and disproportioned.... work on it. the O is too fat incomparison.

@jank, thanks for the feedback. Sometimes I really get caught up because I am one of those guys that like to jump head first. Though, I know sometimes you have to get your feet wet. Right now I am just sketching as much as possible.

My only beef I got with your piece is where letters intersect. Oh and I can’t read the letter between the N and the E. What is that a T? I think you did a variation of that in color, right? The color joint was fiya.
