Hey can someone help me with a problem im having painting?
when I use my outline caps and spray verticaly (as in a line going up and down) it's fine and clean, but when i spray horizontal lines, the top half of the line is clean and then i get loadsa crappy splattery shit out of the bottom of the line! :S
My caps are clean and it happens with new caps as well! Im painting with beltons.

Onelegout: Theres not much to painting really. You have to pick it up yourself. It'll take a few practises to stop drips and get used to the can and your done.Yeh,it's a good idea to have someone to teach you, but where you are thats not really gonna happen. As for the spray. Make sure you keep it at room temperature. between 20-25 degrees celcius and shake it loads. Not sure what else you can do!!

Something different.Never tried anything like this before.
Please try and ignore the RED blobs! I was pissing about with fake blood and didn't relise it went all over it!!lol

i tried block letters they looked worse, i just started with throwups and i'm tryin to work on em. i changed my tag not to long ago so i'm tryin to get used to it. it gets better every time i do it. it's all about progression. this also looks much better in paint on a wall. i'm not to good with pens especially when i've been up for 35 hours, the lack of sleep makin me shaky

try moving your hand faster across the walll and keep the cap level(straight as possible)

also try painting closer to the wall in tandem with quick spray strokes..

it salso depends on the climate,and wall you are painting on

Lemon Juice, I like the E on that second sketch quite a lot it's a nice shape. Try and make the bars on your B a similar thickness, and make it look as close as possible to the same style letter. Anyway, practice makes perfect, keep it up!

once in a while i'll draw in pencil.. and i try to stay away from using large nibbed markers for drawing on paper.. since they tend to bleed and force my to work by making things larger than they need...

although if you have the correct type of paper you should have to worry about unwanted bleeding and color blending

some day i'll put up some finished stuff..but since that hasnt really happened in 7 years of being here...uhm..someday

i mainly use black or blue pen..

once in a while i'll draw in pencil.. and i try to stay away from using large nibbed markers for drawing on paper.. since they tend to bleed and force my to work by making things larger than they need...

although if you have the correct type of paper you should have to worry about unwanted bleeding and color blending

one side is glossy and the other plain...but sharpies bleed on the plain side..

jes a lil fun, look at your E and S, notice how they are quite fat and chubby letters. Now look at the J.
You know what i'm saying. Try and get all your letters the same proportion.
I know your tryin to get some style into it, but the J looks dodgy. Try again, but straighten the J and make it chubby like the other letters.
Also, if you wanna do 3D then make sure you put it on every letter and in the right place.

Yo thanks to the people who helped me with my painting problem! I worked out what it was! you said i had to make sure my can was level and I realised that when i was painting stuff lower down whilst standing up it was actualy not level to the wall at all!
I had another go at painting and Ive got myself a single letter throw that im gonna bomb after Im done with all my exams.

yo i take like 10 maybe 15 minutes on my stuff (which for a simple throw up i think thats adequate) i do it with pencil then i erase and do it with marker and can you give me any other critisms other than practice or the usuall stuff you say

Rend, it appears to my that your biggest problem at this point is that you construct
your letters out of bars that start out normal then end up really fat. That isn't a problem
if you know how to do it correctly but at this point you don't. Keep your bars at a
consistant width and I think it will be a major improvement. Also, work on keeping
your lined on your bars parallel.
