is that really a wildstyle? i always thought your letters had to be connected like they do in ur signature, i dunno maybe i was told wrong. even if it isnt, mad props on the 3D, some writers dont like when it goes different directions i think it looks cool as hell. one thing i have learned though, is when you actually do a piece on a wall is think about adding just lil things inside the letters to not make the colors look flat, the more lil things u add the harder it is to notice the lil slip ups

Your 3d is off, having 3d go in diffrent directions is not cool. Its wack and shows you can think of space. Other then that looks okay, keep sketching. I wouldnt call it wildstyle though.

Practice first simple straight letters, take your time make them even and clean. When you graduated that, try then again to start to wave them together. Your letters are not evenly sized.

a piece i did for my girlfriend, i went pretty basic on the letters shape, based on the advice of sneakandcreep, thanks man, and i just put alot of lil things inside there to compensate. a few of those lil things inside there were GROCK inspired, but not directly off of him. not a real good pic though

hey man my advice is to next time put colors in there to help set off the different things youve got goin on, aside from that, if i do see some lil characters in there they are nice, maybe im just seein things, but characters are always what ive had trouble with, and one final note of advice is you dont need to cram everything in there like that, theres gotta be something in there u dont need that could be removed to spread things out.

Yeah, I seem to have a problem with cramming shit. And yeah, those are some characters, but I drew them all accidently. It was just me putting lines together and voila. The colors, I need to get markers, so for now I'm strictly black and white.

biting refers to someone looking at someone else's work and copying it, biting does not refer to people developing similar letters or characters. I just wanted to stress that, cause I don't copy anyones work. I strive to be original, it's just hard being a toy trying to learn the basics at the same time. this is graffiti, not school, you shouldnt give a fuck who can read it, get somthing original goin in your head and put it down through your hands or you gunna get nowhere fast, and take pride in your blackbook, develope shit outside that book and reserve those pages for what your satisfied with and what you would want people to see, if you do it like that starting right now its goin to tell a story of your progression until you have YOUR solidified style.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but certainly not new to graff. I've always been fascinated by the work here in NYC and have been writing on-and-off for the past 6 years or so. Nowadays I do mostly stickers and stencils.

Wizard I think you've got a bit to go before you begin to paint.

- Try to keep all of your letters uniform and on the same baseline. A graph paper might help with this, using the grid to keep your letters uniform.

- I find it helpful to sketch out my word in pencil before I ink it in marker, this allows for easy fixing of mistakes.

- Make sure you keep all of your letters in the same "style". your W Z R look similar, while your I A D look completely different. This throws off your piece big time.

Well, it looks like you just need to keep doing boring ass straight letters, cause you haven't mastered proportional and consistent letters. Print out some Times New Roman and copy them over and over. Make sure your simples look flawless before you put some style into em.

I would go with grey dots if you're buying caps. The needle ones are so thin, that the only thing they're basically good for is canvases. When you're painting, paint as accurately as you can (for the thin lines), and then go back with whatever the other color is for the fill, and "cut" the line down with single strokes until it's as thin as you want it.

i know. but like, wen coloring with prismas, if the object im coloring is small, the coloring is easy cuz i could make the ink all juicy and thick. but if wen im coloring something thats huge, like the arrow, the marker might get wasted fast. and like, it comes all un even wen i use the broad side. like how does newkon do it. like his coloring always look really solid looking, like no stroke ghost marks etc...

nice...The letters are nice and simple. I don't like the 3D that much though...instead I would maybe try a bubble background or so...

You could try and improove the S and the U....they don't flow that well with the whole thing....
If the piece you posted isn't bitten you're getting somewhere...keep on practising and you'll get bettter...
