chaka the reason good writers can outline a wildstyle in pen is cause they built there style up piece by piece and have it memorized.

they know there letter shape, there flow, what areas of there word make good connections and extensions, usally they also have a favorite style of 3d, fill, and highlight/depth.

Yea, I see what you mean, I saw this guy do the alphabet with a pen, no mistakes, all wildstyle letters, fucking good too. So I should just stick to a certain style that I like? or should I just come up with new style everytime? I know this is my choice but what do you all think? yinz all have no room to talk about style and development. 'cause honestly from what i can tell not many of yinz got the potential yet. it's all personal aesthetic and one's understading of basic letter structure, flow, movement_ yo need to be able to understand the elements to construct a piece. good fills don't hide sloppy letter structure. and it isn't always block, funk, wild, 3-d kid. take totem2 and revok for example. totem has that 3-d mechanical letter structure while revok has a wild style. progression isn't about hoping up to different forms of graffiti: it's about incorporating different style. trying something new_ graffiti in the piecing sense is cantroll and visual aesthetic. noone likes seeing kings with jaded styles. anyonw can throw down a sick style with time, changing it up is what makes it interesting. liek if any f yinz ever heard of the exchange rime threw together. that's progression. don't bite, but studying other art form and graffiti helps alot. movement and direction is key. the concept of living graffiti is something i can't explain. work at what you do, but don't stick with the same tired outline because you got props ffor it one time. take criticism_ bad or good. and progress, you can't throw down "king" classified letter structure without starting out simple. also working with other lettes helps alot, haveing an understanding of letter structure as a whole is a concept that you all will want to grasp. trying to make shit wild is the best way to make it look shitty. keep at it children_ one.

hdy seni, not a bad attempt but you need to make your letters more structured..
you should probably go even more simple, try just replicating the letters on your keyboard.
the best one (overall) is the sideways one to the right, just make your N a bit more readable.
if you take the line at the bottom and angle it a bit to the left and the top one to the right it will make more of an N shape.

but first learn to READ every style and be able to see the letters

well i drew it out real quick..umm move the bottom right part of the k a little more to the right so it doesnt overlapp with the other part of the k so much..shorten the bottom part ..the extension in the bottom rite of the e a lil...and the f....instead of shortening it maybe use wat u used for teh other f's.... (just suggestions) try it out and see if u like it or not...

first off to learn philly handstyles either know someone from philly that can teach you or just look at them and learn them yourself....its just basic shit.. just repeat the same basic shape at the bottom of the letters and makethe actual letter at the top look at ENEM's shit.. try to find a hand with the hearts at the bottom.. i kno theres a video on Youtube where he does a bunch... i dont kno what exactly its called right noe though

you can get 5 dollar motanna cans at a place called bodega, there a pretty cool store in symphony (green line) or mass ave on the orange line either way, but if you take mass ave walk towards cambridge not roxbury when you walk towards cambridge ur gonna go by an art store called utrecht or some shit, good place to rack, no cameras, 2 floors, dumb ass workers, they have copics, prismas, chartpak, good shit
afterwards keep walking in the same directiona nd your going to get into the berklee area and on you rright your going to see some big library and theres going to be like a water fall, bodega is right behindit it looks like a shitty conveniant store without any signs just a dump but you'll see what it really is when you walk inside, no tax either.

I use Prismas; Sharpies; cheap knock off sharpies that have alot of bleed to them; and last but not least; micron pens; as well as Zig pens which are a bit cheaper; but tend to smear when erased.
