Kinda hard to see in the 3rd one, the E is lowercase and it lowered, the little thing above it is actually the left leg of the W, which stretches over. Also ignore the insanely fucked up dropshadows

blackbooking is good fun, plus another medium that most writers should practice i think. people trade books, request people to hit there books, etc.

markers are free and readily available everywhere. you dont "hit hands" with blackbook markers usaually, most markers that can fade well are water based i belive. i guess u can hit hands with sharpies and paint markers, but prismas and decos are shit for it they are designed for paper.

also, i think using color in sketches can help devolp an eye for color, nothin u couldnt learn with paint, but markers are easier to get.

"blackbooking" is important for progression, although Nine is somewhat correct that coloring it doesnt really matter, sketching frequently helps you improve a lot.

yeah i jsut realized that_ but again, i wouldn't wast time racking markers. especialyl if i can't hit hands with them. there are better way to learn color schemes. and i personally think it's much better to learn with a can. it might start out kind of whack. but you can't learn how to fade with a marker_ you can't do inlineing with a sharpie, drawing cracks with a sharper wont teach you how to do em with a can. theres so much more to learn. you can so some pretty sicv shit with paint pens and shit, but you lose alot of elements doing it.

i agree w/ you wienot, alot of people dont use blackbooks and dont use markers they just do quick sketches on notebook paper or computer paper.. alot of times if you live in a hot neighborhood or an area w/ lots of police becaeuse its less sketchy and when they raid your house they wont find anything because u can easily trash those sketches in a heart beat

i had a friend who did it like this for that reason at least..

few of the letters have the same proportions as the others, that n in the wienaut looks more like a k, and the a doesn't fit at all. that t seems unnecessary, the i is just an i, boring as hell, the k in the tusk doesn't seem to fit, and overall i think the letters look kinda sloppy.

truthfully im a complete hyppocrit but the internet takes away the best part of graff. that is learning from others in person and getting the exprience of visual learning sitting on the internet and drawing then posting is so lam ei know i do it once in a while too. most of you should really just draw till you like it enough then find a chill spot leanr to paint go look at graff and take flix you will get alot better physicaly doing it then rrading.
