by Levi's and Futura

Futura has applied his sense of style to original Levi's® garments, created from the cloth up to integrate his work into the very garment. Except for this unique opportunity, this Limited Edition line is only available in stores in Japan. In addition, Futura has hand-customized the garments for this auction, with his tag and other art applied with paint markers. Each of the 3 sets includes 4 items, in unique packaging that is artwork in itself.

Each set includes the following items:

JEANS
The jeans are 1966 model 501® and has an original character drawn by Futura, called "39Meg" embroidered on the right back pocket. The back of the right leg has a "shadow" of another Futura character. Futura's label is hidden underneath the Levi's paper label on the back waistband--to be revealed through deterioration.

JACKET
The 1967 model jean jacket is the centerpiece for the collaboration. It features "shadows" of characters on the back, along with an encrypted code printed with rubber ink on the shoulder. On the front shoulder is an embroidered head of 39Meg in tradidtional Levi's yellow/orange stitching.

SWEATSHIRT
The the black sweat shirt has the "39 Meg" character is applied on the front with felt flocking and is surrounded by his obscured tag in acid green fading to black. His tag is embroidered in gold near the collar in the center of the back.

DIARY
The DECODER diary is designed by Futura, bound in Levi's vintage denim and printed with rubberized ink with Futura's encryption code on the front. The pages inside contain art and design by Futura.

The Auction is CLOSED
