My problem with that ^^^ is I think it would be difficult to find a member on this whole site that didn't listen to one of the world's biggest and most pioneering hip hop groups. This is a site based on hip hop culture, for fuck sake, of course people liked Beastie Boys before he died. I for one don't come in the Ch0 very often and had not previously seen the cancer thread. After reading the morning news I specifically came to Ch0 to post my respects in an RIP thread and this turned out to be it.

This is probably the last 12OZ thread I'd call people out on for being fake. But for some bizarre reason Pronbooth seems to think he is the only real person on this whole website and this thread is a good opportunity for him to make us aware of that.

The BB have been on heavy rotation on my playlists since LTI. Paul's Boutique is my favorite album of all time, in any genre. They influenced my life more than any other band by a mile.

BB & De La Soul are my two favorite groups ever, at any given moment, you can find 50+ of each groups songs on my MP3 devices. BB never fell out of style with me, and never will; I hope my kids learn to enjoy them the way I do.

Unless they pull a Tupac, it sucks to know they'll never drop another track.

MCA passing is a big bummer. Dude was one of the realest emcees out there. I was fortunate enough to see them twice when they toured for check your head and Ill communication respectively. When i was in the 6th grade my friend saw them when they promoted license to ill, my folks didnt let me. Never got into anything after Ill communication. RIP.
