Any contract a starting QB makes it going to be outrageous. Rodgers will be bigger than Romos and Ryans might be bigger than Rogers. Or vice versa.

Think of it this way though. You pay for future performances, not past ones. How do we know Romo won't go on to win 2 Superbowls before his career is over? Would he be worth that money then?
