But first, this ain't directly directed to you. Not because I hate you, because even if I did, it wouldn't be discussed here, but if by lucky chance I run into you in real life the matter will be dealt with upon principle and love of graf, catching an itch from someone who don't deserve the opinion you emit. But, it's directed to you because you tell toys how whack they are postin', or commenting whack shit, and tellin' them this is what you did 15 years ago. Well, seriously....if you recall that day in age when you were doing the whackest WISE pieces in the yard with the most horrible colors, and letter structure (which is the highlight of your career, considering it's the most you've ever done, and the city which you relate to most on the graf level)....but on a real serious tip....that's what you did. That's why you paint the way you do ( even if it's rare and bust free spots), which toys who painted 2 years to your 15 hit less structure & color skill, but more ups in those 2 than your 15,they did an element that's higher than what you did , and it's about THIS time. And chances are, in the game of graf, they won't paint on and off again for 15 years in order to do a decent piece. These are the kids you're dissing, they don't know shit!!!!! They look to this 12 oz. shit, where half the threads talk shit, it's just those half don't have an "ANSIQ" who feels a certain connection to the thread to close it down, for whatever personal, satisfactory reasons you just did. Cats come up a different way, especially in the D....where you got art fags, city kids with no grammar, or the miscellanious inbetween who fall nowhere. But, let it be where you should let it be. Graf has no rules, and I don't care if you're the originator of graf from the 60's, with an untold story....let the kids have fun, and do how they do.
One last thing 'till I pass it off to my boy who has the same heated agitation to your actions.....(and only becuase you're a computer geek with the internet power to show "graffiti authority"), graf is not authoritative.......turtle with iconic elements which made him.... G-dawg, with no handstyle gang graf which made him all-city, and I'm not even gonna think about others that don't come off my brain off bat.....made an impression in your mind you can't even get rid of. But yet, you'll always give them respect on a graf tip, people who have no understanding of graf....but toys who do, who shit talk because they're 20 years younger than you...you try to regulate???? Now, there's another cat who's even more heated, who needs to say shit....and not because it's an assault on you, it's for the love.....it's for remembering when we were toys, what they need, change in times, and not trying to pull rank on the basis of years painting. It's because we know what graf is truly about. Let me be the VOICE for all the new and upcoming cats, the kids who only have a year or two under there belt whom are still yet to learn the history of detroit graffiti. And why do they not know it? because everytime the may think for one second they want to learn it they have a graff "veteran" like you not only dissing them, but making them feel like any opinion or thing they say is worthless. A lesson needs to be learned from them from experiance not you closing a thread like these kids are a dog getting beat for bad behavior. And why? Because you think because you have written articales for magizines or are a moderator on this site? Truth be told and im gonna give my personal view on this, after countless years reading this site and face first in the game, the only thing you have done is play a voice to carry on OTHER peoples legacys, while your own is only carried through the name seeking, not ansiq, and god do we wish we could forget your wise years. But you wont let these kids live through your wise years as a writer because your so quick to dismiss anything they say or do. And the worst part is that you dont have any ups in the streets compared to these new kids. Not that i am always the biggest fan but they are doing what is important. Giving the game love and heart to an extent that carries it on, WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TO TAKE THAT AWAY FROM THEM?!? toy years should be the best learning fun times, and like being a kid. people like to talk shit about me, yet nearly every single person ive ever argued with has at one point come to me personally and we've had intelligent conversations with them admitting to respect me and asking for opinions or advice.
i closed the thread because the people doing all the talking and arguing arent even the ones doing the painting, they're unrelated cheerleaders of ignorance. because those who do paint send me PM's ASKING ME to do something about it. this thread represents them, and represents the city. i did it for them.
