yeah here are some more links on urban exploration
theres alot to know about asbestos and other bad chemicals that can be floating around in abandoned buildings
and a rainy season could be a good thing with helping ground alot of possibly hazardous airborne particles
going exploring when its damp can be one of the safest times to explore
finding a quality mask can be helpful too
some links http://www.infiltration.org/
yeah
i see what you're saying
i think my city is different though as things are being torn down sometimes literally over night for new buildings, and i think vacant space is a very prized thing around here, so not a lot of stuff is just left out to take up space
surprised they never tore down this building
here is an abandon building in detroit
it is called the packard plant.
place is huge as you can see how big 500yds (in the corner)
is and comparing it to the building it is about
10 football fields long/1,000 yards
and probaly 2 and a half football fields wide.

sorry but i have never been in there.
i want to go into it soon but never had
a chance or a ride there.
there are some pics in my cities thread
but they are from awhile back and i don't
feel like searching for them.
I know that part of the top floor in one
section of the building completely caved
in and see a pic of it but i will try to find
some.

ohhhhhhhhhh, weak sauce.
and as for how everyone finds these places. i've always just fallen upon, or heard from a friend of a friend of a friend, etc.
i went to an abandoned hotel outside of orlando a couple months ago and explored. it was really wierd, because some of the rooms still had phonebooks and stuff in it. almost all still had beds that we're made up, and it looked to have been abandoned for 5+ years.
if i go back anytime soon, i'll remember to bring my digi.
In my experience, rockabilly is like the retirement plan for old skinheads. -AronOne
posted these before but whatever. this place has since been torn down besides being badass it was also a legendary skate spot due to the 8 foot concrete transition on the exterior.
CAROLINA CIRCLE MALL
heres the skate part, used to be pristine was eventually busted up with a jackhammer and a couple months ago the whole place was leveled.
