I work with a prominant Miami non-profit, and am working with the city to establish a series of legal walls in the downtown, Little Hati, and posibly Little Havana sections of Miami.
I used to write (years ago) and know that everyone has their own opinions about legal walls, and I know that most think they are for toys and sissies, but whatever, if anyone has any ideas about how to get artists who ARE interested involved, drop me a line at the email associated with this forum.
All artists and crews are invited (MSG, Buck 50, EPC ... this means ya all). All artists have complete creative control, and can use the space to address any issue, national or local that they want (police brutatlity, racism, etc), or just use the space any way you want. Once established, walls can continue to circulate and generate new works.
I know this thread is for flix, sorry, it was the only Miami thread I found. Peace.
