depends on the damage you do, and what property you're vandalising. you could get anything from a slap on the wrist all the way up to some jail time, depending on how big of an asshole the arresting officer and the judge are

you dont get fined. if cops catch you, theyll actually pay you for performing such a valuable community service. try it ... it works.
