Duplicolor ( the US brand) has a new line of car art spray paint. It goes directly onto the car and can wash away with warm water and soap, and the shit ain't fan caps either. I saw it at AutoZone, and then saw a commercial for it on TV. This is the link, http://www.duplicolor.com/products/carart.html
oh, okay edoggg, like the guy was going to do some "SICK ASS BURNER" on the side of the car. Wtf, he's an office worker or some shit like that. what were expecting, Something Revok-ish?
I mean, the fact guy went through that trouble to paint all the letters for his chick is huge.
Someone brought up the point that if it was some AWR looking shit, then the girl would be all "Uh, honey, what does it say?" and guy would be "Uh.....it's says, Marry Me sweetie..."
and the moment would be totally killed.

Hi, me again. Thanks for the comments!
Yeah, she said yes!
When she saw the car, I got down on one knee in the middle of the (thankfully empty) road, produced the ring and asked her.
She was completely unfazed by me painting the car, but she was impressed with the effort i went to, and thought it was very romantic. She was glad I hadn't just taken her out for a meal to propose.
Someone asked what paint it was, it was hardcore. Took most of a can to do the fill-in.
I got a bit on the car, but it came off pretty easy rubbing it off with isopropyl alcohol and kitchen paper, which might be useful if anyone gets paint on their car by accident. The clingfilm peeled off ok, but we didn't have time before she went to work, so she had to drive to work with it on her car! She works for a graphic design company, so they all liked it.
Yeah, the lettering isn't awesome, but I wanted warm, friendly shaped letters, not aggressive angular ones, and it needed to be legible not just to Steph but also to her friends & relatives.
Plus, as Lens guessed, "Wtf, he's an office worker or some shit like that." - I'm a programmer. I'd not used a spraycan before I started on this; artisically, I'm more at home with pencils, tria markers, and photoshop, though i've some practice with an airbrush. Having said that, man there's a buzz using a spraycan!

exactly...some people take graffiti too seriously and expect everything to look ILL, SICK, DOPE, WORD, KEWL!!!!!!!! you made the right choice.
Try using a rag if you wanna get high with paint...it works wonders. Any wonder you caught a buzz with the weinie little masks you were rocking!
