I enjoyed watching it, but the chem stuff isn't always accurate. I mean, nobody in their right mind would cook meth on a Bunsen burner(hot plate or heating mantle, please folks!). And you'd do best to contain the vapors produced by the reaction, a length of tubing from the top of the condenser to a bucket of basefied H2O, they just sport gas masks and let the gases roll out the top of the trailer. Jesus!
But then again, it's TV, visible bright flame and thick toxic smoke look cooler than lab safety.
since it's been so long did we ever find out how Walt took out the guy who chained by the neck in the basement?
I just don't have time to go back through three seasons.
apologies if it been discussed earlier crib notes pls.
Walt choked him with the bike lock, then Jesse dissolved the body in his upstairs bath tub with Hydrochloric acid, instead of getting a plastic barrel, like Walt told him too. So the acid dissolved through the tub and through the 2nd floor so all the remains (goo) fell onto the floor beneath the bathroom.which they ended up having to clean up by hand.
I thought you were ripping me for reposting that pic.
Actually wait I remember now, the first guy died from the fumes (I think) and they dissolved him, then they dissolved the other guy in one of those dissolve-proof barrels.
Or did said barrels come later in the series?

Emilio (asain guy) died of fumes and was desoved in tub, crazy eight(mexican guy) was locked basement then killed by bicycle lock. Then presumably dissolved in acid, though it didn't show what they did with him.
They must have acid-bathed Krazy 8 too watch where Jessie's selling the house he says he can't take a proper dump because two dudes were turned into raspberry slushees and flushed down the toilet. I'm hoping for a flashback of it in Season 5.
Oh and Gus is about to be on that NBC show "Community"
