my last 2 whips. drunken race car driver status. good times. baretta was a beast. hit a lot of parked cars in that thing. bought it for 300 dollars, last 3 years.
Cast Garrett compressor wheels (right) tend to come apart above 50 psi. CNC billet aluminum wheels (middle) are stronger, but why not be different and use your own CNC billet titanium (left) compressor?
You'll need a turbo big enough for the job, which in this case is a 108mm twinscroll T4 turbo, with custom quad ball bearing CHRA and 100psi capability.
To get enough airflow at 12,000rpm(!) to get the job done, you'll need a skillfully ported head, complete with titanium valves and copper-beryllium valve seats:
And you're going to need a set of camshafts to handle the rpm and withstand tremendous ramp pressures, so why not a set of hollow titanium billets with DLC at only 234 grams each?
And since there is no aftermarket rod up to the task, just ask for a set of billet mmcs-titanium connecting rods at 286g each. Rod/Stroke ratio is 2.07:
For pistons, a set of custom beryllium pistons with DLC fits the bill, and since methanol is the fuel, 13:1 SCR is fine:
A strong piston pin is needed as well:
Toss in a custom titanium billet crank:
A set of 9000cc/min injectors:
And since a factory 4G63 block probably wouldn't hold up, just CNC machine your own from billet aluminum:
No head gasket is used:

I'd get the Rx8 just so I can mess with the magical spinning dorito motor.
Thank you for providing us with the direct-port nitrous... uh... injection, four-core intercoolers, an' ball-bearing turbos, and... um... titanium valve springs..

Im guessing the smaller diameter of that multiplate clutch is to reduce rotational mass. Being that it is a multiplate, the torque-holding capabilities of a normal diameter clutch face are not an advantage. Is this accurate?
How about that evolution, huh? I find it amazing that the world went from fucking awesome dinosaurs going 'RAWR!' to stupid feathery birds going 'chirp'.......

Zuh?
Wait! That's it! With your booksmarts, and my ability to exploit people with booksmarts, we can figure out a clever plan to get them back together!

Like I told my last wife, I says, "Honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it's all in the reflexes."
that clutch is pretty extreme. those guys are building $60K engines.
Yes, the block alone cost 11 grand. In the original thread on the Evo forums, they show the process of Making it, It's 2 stages, 2 weeks in the CNC machine, the turbo is also along the lines of 30 grand, so the block and turbo alone cost 40 grand. All the other mechanical stuff, Pistons, valves, camshafts, Valve Cover, Fuel Management, probally run well over 200K.

Yes, with my limited knowledge of Clutch Tech this would be right.
Extreme Tuning builds expensive High HP, high tech motors, they also have a stable of Escorts, Scooby's, and other crazy cars.
BTW guys I'm stuck as to what car I should get, Evo8, Bug-eyed Scoobie, Or something older (SC300, 240SX)
What would be the insurance range on a O3 Evo owned by a Teenager?

As a teenager, get something older, work on it yourself, and LEARN. Im 30 and both the turbo cars Ive owned did not start out turbo. I resent the newer turn-key tuner cars that teenagers end up with and have no knowledge of the inner workings of. How hard is it to buy a factory turbo car and bolt on some aftermarket parts to achieve higher performance? My respect goes out to those who drive an underdog, and have done their own research and built a car in which form follows function, and does what they want the car to do for them not help them fit in to the internet car culture of hella-flush fitment, rusted hoods, bike racks, and super expensive wheels powdercoated in various pastels and neon colors.

Sounds good. I'll get what I can get my hands on though, not too pick as of, as long as it isnt FWD domestic.

Good call. If Ford would have marketed the Focus RS that would have been the shit, but thats AWD turbo and will never happen. Apparently Americans know nothing about rally and do not appreciate such cars. Or anything else besides stock car racing. Its got to piss you off knowing that our own domestic brands give overseas markets hotter shit.

The Focus was a UK Ford from the jump. I don't hate on any car just because of where its from. Where it comes from is irrelevant to me, hot shit is hot.
