Ok, I'm looking into this and getting confused. I apologize, but reading the entire thread is hurting my eyes.
I've been in the battery business for a decade and I've never heard the term "automatic battery" or "manual battery". Now apparently the atomizer vaporizes the liquid and you can purchase multiple flavors?? For 50 bucks, is this thing going to last me a while? I currently burn through a pack a day of Marlboro Lights, and want to try vaping.

Gotta have an 801 charger to charge the batteries. I got a buttload of time
from using an 801 battery the other day.
So I decided to buy all this stuff and quit smoking.
My question is that since I will be buying everything online and getting it shipped...how much juice should I buy at a time.
I go through 2 cartons of Newports a month.
I will want enough to last me at least a few months, mainly because shipping overseas takes anywhere from 10-30 days to get to me.

These are the crystal you use. Probably ok to use some Lorann mint flavoring, too.
I buy the 24mg and cut it in half using vegetable glycerin. You may want to start with
the full 24mg's if you like full flavored cigs. Otherwise you might not get the fix you need.
Can always cut it down as time goes on.
Also, buy some spare atomizers and make sure you know how to care for your atomizers.
They aren't meant to last for a long time but if you take care of them they will last longer.
I've had one since December and it's still working fine.
If you sit in front of a computer and like to smoke, buy a usb passthrough. Keeps you from having to charge batteries all the time.
Sorry for the long winded post. There's a lot to know and I know you probably don't want
sift through a ton of shit to get the answers you're looking for.

What I did was get a little conversion piece for my 901 so I can use an 801 battery on it.
It's a lot bigger of a battery and lasts a lot longer.
If you don't want to do that, just get a couple of 901 batteries. 2 come with the kit,
2 more would probably be safe.
If you smoke 6-7 times a day, that would be fine.
Get a passthrough if you like smoking at home. It doesn't stink at all.

Best bet would be to buy a couple of those 50ml's of 24 mg juice since it might take a while to get there and if you run out before you've broken your analog cig addiction I can
promise you'll go right back to them. Happened to me. Fortunately only for a few days.
You can always cut it down to a weaker solution and double up on your liquid.
I think the coolest thing about this shit is the flavoring. You may not want just menthol throughout the day. Especially since that is what you're trying to quit. Maybe have a day vape and a night vape liquid? A lot of folks do that type of thing.
