I stopped when i got laid off from my job about a year ago. I think the reason i smoked was to get more breaks than people who don't smoke. That and the job sucked.

I think it's a lot easier when you realize that you're just fighting against chemical imbalances in your brain.

Then it's just a matter of waiting until your brain goes back to contently sober mode.

I know this varies between substances though. I've never smoked a full cig in my life.
