whenever i post a topic or reply and wish to delete it how come i can't?
is it only crew that may delete topics and threads?

no, you have the power to edit yourself... you must be doing it wrong somewhere... go to the 'Edit Post' icon just underneath your post, this link will open a screen and right near the top should be a check box that says 'Delete Post' and across from that is a button that says 'Delete Now'... check the box and press the button, it's that easy...

assuming you just want to correct spelling, make your corrections and scroll to the bottom and click on the 'Submit Reply' button...

Caveat: all those button names might not be correct, but you'll be able to discern, I just did this from memory, I'm gonna go play guitar and lie down, long day...

contrary to what smart said, you CANNOT delete your own topics. only crew can delete. what you CAN do is edit your post to ask the crew to delete your topic.
