benumb - some of the best grind out there

one king down - good true hardcore

soilent green - incredible metal inspired by millions of things

unearth - everyone is giving them the thumbs down these days, but i still listen to their work when im in a mood for some breakdowns

shutdown - nyc hardcore, kid

Opeth (very good instumentals makes me feel like im in a castle
Nile ( egyptian themed. their stuff is super complicated and dope
Orphaned land ( israili black/death metal. Shits dope. Its got all the traditional instruments and chants along with the normal death metal stuff.)

Opeth is ill on the 4th degree.

I found a new band today. They are called bal-sagoth. Its interesting shit, remember the warcraft 2 sound track? Or the music in kings quest? Well this is doom/death metal mixed with that stuff with simular themes. Its actually really cool.
