it has nothing to do with me "acting better than everyone". its just ive been involved in graff for the last 12 years and i have made my mistakes and learned from them. this is a trick (the photo taking) i learned from people we all grew up jocking and still do today. it just makes sense. if you all feel like you know-it-all and cant learn anything then you should just stop.. whats the point of going on if you got it all figured out. its not about artsy phototaking. its more about doing the spot justice. letting fools know how hard of a spot it was. with the steel shot for example.. for all i know it was done on some construction lot around the back in the middle of the countryside. big deal.. now, if you woulda just stepped back onto market street and captured cars passing by it, pedestrian traffic etc then it really does become a BIG DEAL.. i dunno. like i said its all just a suggestion. for me, it irritates the shit out of me when i see something of mine posted on here without anything to inform what i went through to do it. but again, thats just me. also, not everyone on here knows the surrounding enviornment of all the stuff. this is a global forum and id say the majority of people who view this thread arent from SF and probably have never even been here.
i feel what dagmar is saying.
and for my personal flicks i always include the surrounding elements to give the viewer an idea of what the spot is all about.
for the internet i usually just crop it down to the nitty gritty.
people don't need to know everything on here.
if they know graf and know spots they will find it on their own.
so i think crazylazy has a point as well.

Im Not from your town, im a bit more south, but if the picture doesnt show how difficult that spot is... sometimes, i just pass right by it. you should at least give the veiwer some kind of idea of the complex area of that burner or whatever.....or else its "Just another flick", and noone really takes it in...PEACE
